AFI is an American rock band from Ukiah, California, formed in 1991. Since 1998, it consists of lead vocalist Davey Havok, drummer and backing vocalist Adam Carson, bassist, backing vocalist and keyboardist Hunter Burgan, and guitarist, backing vocalist and keyboardist Jade Puget. Havok and Carson are the sole remaining original members. Originally a hardcore punk band, they have since delved into many genres, starting with horror punk and following through post-hardcore and emo into alternative rock and gothic rock.
Danzig is an American heavy metal band led by former Samhain and Misfits singer Glenn Danzig. Formed in 1987 in Lodi, New Jersey, the group early on became a unique voice in the rock scene, playing a bluesy, doom-laden metal with Glenn Danzig crooning in the style of Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley. Danzig's openly satanic lyrics and image stirred controversy. After a major hit with a live version of its 1988 song "Mother", the band experimented with industrial music but later returned to heavy metal. As of 2023, Danzig has released 12 studio albums, two EPs, one live album, and one compilation album.

Toad the Wet Sprocket is an American alternative rock band formed in Santa Barbara, California, in 1986. The band at the time consisted of vocalist/guitarist Glen Phillips, guitarist Todd Nichols, bassist Dean Dinning, and drummer Randy Guss, who stopped touring in 2017 and left the band in 2020. Guss was replaced by drummer Josh Daubin, who had been supporting them as their drummer on recent tours. They had chart success in the 1990s with singles that included "Walk on the Ocean", "All I Want", "Something's Always Wrong", "Fall Down", and "Good Intentions".

Filmed at the Augusta (Maine) Civic Center on July 11, 2004, the performance showcases Slayer's 1986 album, Reign in Blood, played in its entirety with the four original band members on a set resembling their 1986 Reign in Pain Tour. The Starland Ballroom is a concert venue located in Sayreville, New Jersey. Beginning in the 1960s, the building was known as the Jernee Mill Inn, a local bar with a banquet hall. It was originally known as the Hunka Bunka Ballroom and then Willy's in the 1980s. It has operated as a dance music club but more often hosted concerts with primarily metal, punk and ska lineups.
Matt Deis is an American bass guitarist. Originally from West Springfield, Massachusetts, he is best known as the bassist of the rock band CKY with whom he performed with between 2005 and 2010, returning in 2015 and departing again in 2019, and the current bassist of metalcore band All That Remains, with whom he performed between 2003 and 2005, but made his return in 2022. From 2019 to 2020, Deis performed with American Idol finalist Tristan McIntosh. From summer 2021-22, Deis was the touring bassist for country music duo, Thompson Square, until leaving to rejoin All That Remains. Deis filled in with Saving Abel on select dates in the summer of 2023. In the fall of 2023, Deis served as touring bassist for country artist, Mitchell Tenpenny.

The Last Dance is the fourth studio album by the American nu metal band 40 Below Summer. It was released on October 31 (Halloween) 2006 via Crash Music. The single "Relapse" from the album had a video directed and produced by Frankie Nasso. The CD/DVD combo was released on October 31, 2006, via Crash Music Inc. The two-disc release features nine demo versions of songs intended for their third and final major LP, and a DVD with the band's "last" performance at the Starland Ballroom in New Jersey.
Most of Coheed and Cambria's albums are part of a sci-fi saga called The Amory Wars. They have been released out of sequence in relation to the story arc. The first album released was The Second Stage Turbine Blade, the second part in the series, followed by the third, In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3, and the fourth, which is split into two volumes. The first, Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness, was released in 2005, and the second, entitled Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World for Tomorrow, was released on October 23, 2007, and is said to be the last chapter in the ongoing saga of Coheed and Cambria Kilgannon, the main characters in The Amory Wars saga. They released the prequel to the saga, Year of the Black Rainbow, on April 13, 2010. The band then released a double album entitled The Afterman, set before the events of Year of the Black Rainbow. The first part, The Afterman: Ascension, was released October 9, 2012, and the second part, The Afterman: Descension, was released February 5, 2013. The band's eighth album, The Color Before the Sun, was released on October 16, 2015. It is the band's first album not to be part of The Amory Wars concept. The band's ninth album, Vaxis – Act I: The Unheavenly Creatures, returned to The Amory Wars story. It was released on October 5, 2018. The band's newest studio album, Vaxis – Act II: A Window of the Waking Mind, was released on June 24, 2022.

The program's weekly playlists range from deep tracks of known artists, punk, non album b-sides, bubblegum pop, TV themes, jazz, blues, country, novelty and unsigned local artists. Dramarama’s "Anything, Anything " is the theme song and the Live at the China Club version begins 99% of the shows. The show has world premiered tracks by Bruce Springsteen, Green Day, and Tegan and Sara. fun.'s "We Are Young" had its first airing in October 2011 on Anything Anything with Rich Russo.
