Live at the Sydney Opera House is the first live album by Australian-based R&B singer Ngaiire with Sydney Symphony Orchestra. The album was announced in February 2024 alongside its lead single. The album was recorded during their sold-out performance in November 2022 which celebrated the Opera House's 50th anniversary and consists of orchestral arrangements of tracks from across her career. To celebrate the release, Ngaiire returned to the Opera House on 4 May 2024 for a one-off concert. [4]

The Sydney Symphony Orchestra (SSO) is an Australian symphony orchestra based in Sydney. Initially formed in 1908, the orchestra has performed at the Sydney Opera House as its home concert hall, since the venue's opening in 1973. The Whitlams are an Australian Indie rock band formed in late 1992. The original line-up was Tim Freedman on keyboards and lead vocals, Andy Lewis on double bass and Stevie Plunder on guitar and lead vocals. Katie Anne Noonan is an Australian singer and songwriter. In addition to a successful solo career encompassing opera, jazz, pop, rock and dance, she was the singer in the band George and remains the singer in the band Elixir; performs with her mother Maggie Noonan; and plays with her band The Captains. Noonan was the musical director of and performed at the 2018 Commonwealth Games' opening and closing ceremonies.
The National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) is an American symphony orchestra based in Washington, D.C. Founded in 1930 by cellist Hans Kindler, its principal performing venue is the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. They were also the official orchestra of the annual National Memorial Day Concert and A Capitol Fourth celebrations. The NSO provides an education program that aims to expose its audiences to classical music. They also provide teaching resources to families and teachers. Ngaire Laun Joseph, known by her stage name Ngaiire, is a Papua New Guinea-born Australian-based R&B and future soul singer-songwriter. Her musical career commenced in 2003 with an enrollment in a bachelor of Jazz Studies at the Central Queensland University (CQU). In 2004, she competed in the second season of Australian Idol, where she competed as a semi-finalist but did not make it to the final 12 singers. She then worked with Blue King Brown and Paul Mac as a session vocalist before re-focusing on her solo career in 2008.
