In late 1976, the Dwight Twilley Band was sent on a midwestern promotional tour by Shelter Records and its new distribution partner Arista Records, in an effort to gain exposure for the band, which had been idled by the collapse of Shelter. At the time, the Cleveland Agora was located underneath Agency Recording Studios, and professional-quality recordings were made of many of the live concerts, using Agency's equipment, for radio rebroadcast. The tape of this concert was later edited for national broadcast on the King Biscuit Flower Hour, but it was not released commercially for over three decades.
Shelter Records was a U.S. record label started by Leon Russell and Denny Cordell that operated from 1969 to 1981. The company established offices in both Los Angeles and Tulsa, Russell's home town, where the label sought to promote a "workshop atmosphere" with a recording studio in a converted church, adjoining houses for artists working at the studio, and other facilities. The Tulsa recording studio was housed in the historic The Church Studio. Russell remained with Shelter until 1976, when he and Cordell fell out. In a settlement, Cordell then became sole owner of the label, while Russell left to start his own label, Paradise Records.
Arista Records, Inc. is an American record label owned by Sony Music Entertainment and previously handled by Bertelsmann Music Group. The label was founded in 1974 by Clive Davis, who formerly worked for Columbia Records. Until its demise in 2011, it was a major distributor and promoter of albums throughout the United States and the United Kingdom. Today, the label's reissues and catalogue releases are handled by RCA Records and Legacy Recordings.
The King Biscuit Flower Hour was an American syndicated radio show presented by the D.I.R. Radio Network that featured concert performances by various rock music recording artists.
The band on this tour consisted of Dwight Twilley (guitar, keyboards, lead and harmony vocals), Phil Seymour (drums, percussion, lead and harmony vocals) and Bill Pitcock IV (lead guitar), with backing musicians including Bingo Sloan (bass) and Rob Armstrong (drums). The band performed five songs from its debut album Sincerely , five songs from the upcoming second album Twilley Don't Mind , two songs that ultimately appeared on The Great Lost Twilley Album and one song ("Betsy Sue") that had only been released in a Dwight Twilley solo version, even though Twilley wrote it during his teens.
Phil Seymour was an American drummer, singer, guitarist and songwriter, best known for the singles "I'm On Fire", his own solo hit "Precious to Me" and for being the second voice on Tom Petty's hits "American Girl" and "Breakdown." His solo work is revered among fans of power pop.
Sincerely is the debut album from the Dwight Twilley Band, released in 1976 on Shelter Records. The band consisted solely of Dwight Twilley and Phil Seymour, although touring band member Bill Pitcock IV played lead guitar on every song except for "Sincerely" itself. The album credited production to Oister, which was the original name of the Dwight Twilley Band; later reissues have credited production directly to Twilley and Seymour.

The band consisted of Dwight Twilley, Phil Seymour, and Bill Pitcock IV. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers is the debut album by the band of the same name, released on November 9, 1976 by Shelter Records. The album was recorded and mixed at the Shelter Studio in Hollywood, California.

Among their charting singles, they achieved Top 10 three times, Top 20 three times and Top 40 eight times. They have sold over 20 million records worldwide.
One-Trick Pony, Paul Simon's fifth solo studio album, was released in 1980. It was Simon's first album for Warner Bros. Records, and his first new studio album since 1975's Still Crazy After All These Years. His back catalog from Columbia Records would also move to Warner Bros. as a result of his signing with the label.

Still Stuck in Your Throat is a 2006 studio album by Fishbone. It was their first album since Fishbone and the Familyhood Nextperience Present: The Psychotic Friends Nuttwerx had been released six years previously. It is also the first album to feature Rocky George (guitar), Dre Gipson and Curtis Storey, as well as their first to not feature founding member Walter A. Kibby II, who left the band in 2003. Still Stuck in Your Throat was recorded in late 2005 and early 2006 with the support of David Kahne who produced all of Fishbone's recordings during the 1980s and early 1990s. Featuring five songs that were written during the unreleased "Hen House" sessions of 2001, the new album also contains six brand new tracks.
Alive and Kickin' Ass is the fifth live album released by Crack the Sky. Recorded live at the Tower Theater in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the Agora in Cleveland, Ohio in 1978—the same shows that were used for the Live Sky album. Four of these performances were previously unreleased and six were on Live Sky ; the tapes were Produced, remixed and remastered by bassist Joe Macre for this release.
Vietnam is a rock, post-punk and new wave band from Atlanta, Georgia on Scared Records. Vietnam first appeared at the dawn of a new decade—the 80's, and ushered in a fresh era of music to the Atlanta new wave scene. Embraced by the early 80's cavalcade of Athens bands such as R.E.M., Pylon, Method Actors, Love Tractor, etc., Vietnam wowed the patrons of the legendary 688 club, 40 Watt club, and the Agora Ballroom. Their first performance was opening for Public Image Ltd. in April 1980, and the next year they played the Noise Fest in New York, appearing on the ZG compilation release of the same name along with Sonic Youth, Glenn Branca, Y Pants and others. They released their first full-length album on Scared Records in 2004, Past Away.
The Great Lost Twilley Album was the third and final studio album from the Dwight Twilley Band, recorded in 1974 through 1980 and released in 1993 on Shelter Records. The basic band consisted of Dwight Twilley, Phil Seymour, and Bill Pitcock IV ; other musicians include Leon Russell, Tom Petty and Susan Cowsill. Most of the production is credited to Twilley and Seymour, although some other producers who worked on songs on the record include Jack Nitzsche, Leon Russell, Robin Cable and Chuck Plotkin.
You're Never Alone with a Schizophrenic is the fourth solo album by Ian Hunter. The album featured members of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band as the backing band. It is considered to be Hunter's best solo album.
Twilley is the first studio album by power pop musician Dwight Twilley. He recorded it after the Dwight Twilley Band disbanded.
The Agora, Cleveland 1978 is a live album by Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, released in December 2014 and was the second official release through the Bruce Springsteen Archives. The concert is available on CD-R and digital download at http://live.brucespringsteen.net.
The Complete Matrix Tapes is a live album by the New York City-based experimental rock band the Velvet Underground, released on November 20, 2015. It features unexpurgated recordings of the band's two-night stint on November 26 and 27, 1969, at San Francisco club The Matrix, owned and operated by Jefferson Airplane's Marty Balin. The band's appearance represents one of the rare occasions on which the Velvet Underground was professionally recorded in a live setting, and while several of the performances in this set have been released in various fashions and configurations before, it is the first time all of them have been collected together. Additionally, this represents the first time much of this material has been presented in a CD version sourced directly from the original tapes, which had been considered lost for decades, and nine tracks from this collection had previously been completely unreleased in any configuration. The resulting product has been widely praised both for its sound quality and for the power of its performances.
Ultimate Collector's Edition is a compilation box set by the band U.K., released on 4 November 2016. The set includes 14 CDs, 4 Blu-rays and a 66-page book detailing the band's history. The CDs include: remastered versions of the band's two studio albums, each with an extra disc containing songs in pre-production form; an extended, 2-CD version of the Night After Night live album featuring a complete show, and a remaster of the original version; a remixed version of Reunion – Live in Tokyo, three concerts from 1978, two bonus discs with interviews with John Wetton and Eddie Jobson, and the band's final concert from 1979.
