The Metal West is the third full-length album by Kid Icarus. Released in 2005 by Summerstep Records, the album was the first by Kid Icarus to feature a full band, with the line-up consisting of guitarist Justin Marchegiani, bassist Ted Baird, keyboardist Chuck Keller, and drummer Thad Moyer. The album cover was painted by Cassie Rose Kobeski.

Summersteps Records is an independent record label located in Dunmore, Pennsylvania, United States. Formed by Eric Schlittler and Cassie Rose Kobeski in 1996 to release their home recordings on cassette tape, the label has grown to include other artists and to produce professional CDs and vinyl. Their premier act, Kid Icarus, was featured in Spin as artist of the day in August 2005.

Maps of the Saints is an indie rock album by Kid Icarus. It was first released in 1999 through Summersteps Records on cassette and CD-R, and was re-issued in 2003. The liner notes and packaging were laid out by Ted Baird, who would later join the band as a musician. The relief print by Cassie Rose Kobeski on the cover is entitled "Sunday Dinner".

Tigers Jaw

Tigers Jaw is an American rock band from Scranton, Pennsylvania, formed in 2005. Their first album, Belongs To The Dead, was released in 2006. They released a 7" single, "Spirit Desire", in 2009, on Tiny Engines. They released three albums before announcing a hiatus in March 2013; however, their record label Run for Cover Records announced in August 2013 that Tigers Jaw's breakup was not official. They released their fourth album Charmer in June 2014 and their fifth album, spin, in 2017.

Belongs to the Dead is the debut album by American indie rock band Tigers Jaw, released on October 3, 2006 through Summersteps Records. The album was recorded on recording rig in an attic. The album was re-mastered in 2012 and released by Run for Cover Records.
