Live i Skandinavien is a live album by Danish rock band Gasolin' and was released in November 1978.

Denmark, officially the Kingdom of Denmark, is a Nordic country and the southernmost of the Scandinavian nations. Denmark lies southwest of Sweden and south of Norway, and is bordered to the south by Germany. Gasolin Danish rock band

Gasolin' was a Danish rock band from Christianshavn in Copenhagen formed by Kim Larsen, Franz Beckerlee and Wili Jønsson in 1969. Their first drummer was the late Bjørn Uglebjerg. He was replaced by Søren Berlev in 1971. At the formation the guitar playing of Franz Beckerlee was inspired by Jimi Hendrix and the singing and lyrics of Larsen was inspired by Bob Dylan, while the rhythm playing of Jønsson and Berlev owed much to The Beatles. However, they would soon develop their own musical style. The pop sensibility of Kim Larsen, the artistic attitude of Franz Beckerlee and the musical competence of Wili Jønsson would prove to be a recipe for success. Gasolin's lyrics were generally written by the entire group, often with the assistance of friend Mogens Mogensen.

Gasolin' broke up in 1978 and they played their last concert in Malmö (Sweden) on 21 August. Live i Skandinavien (AKA Gøglernes aften) was recorded during their last tour where they played in Norway and Sweden.

The album is dominated by songs from their 1977 album Gør det Noget . "This is My Life" is played in a different, faster arrangement than the studio version from Efter Endnu en dag . "Rabalderstræde" is the only song repeated from their first live album Live Sådan . The last song "Dråben" is better known as "Som et strejf af en dråbe".

Gør det Noget is Danish Rock group Gasolin's seventh studio album. When Gasolin' released Gør det Noget in November 1977, they knew it was their last album. After the ambitious Gas 5 and Efter endnu en dag, Gasolin' decided to make a garage-rock album. Therefore, the service of Roy Thomas Baker was not needed and Gør det Noget was produced by Gasolin' and "Rocco" Tommy Bogs.

Like on their previous album Gasolin' of the same year, American Leonard "Skip" Malone, helped the band translate the Danish lyrics into English.

Sweet Silence Studios was a recording studio originally built by Danish engineers Freddy Hansson, Stig Kreutzfeldt, and Flemming Rasmussen in February 1976. A variety of artists have recorded there, including Cat Stevens, Gasolin, Ole Prehm, Metallica, C.V. Jørgensen and Kliché. The studios closed in 2009, being demolished to make way for an apartment complex and a car park. Rasmussen then moved to Winding Road Studios in Copenhagen.
