The Tea Party is a Canadian rock music band with industrial rock, blues, progressive rock and Middle Eastern music influences, dubbed "Moroccan roll" by the media. Active throughout the 1990s and up until 2005, the band re-formed in 2011. The Tea Party released eight albums on EMI Music Canada, selling over 2 million records worldwide, including 4 double–platinum awards, 1 platinum and 4 gold albums in Canada. Between 1996 and 2016, The Tea Party was the 35th best-selling Canadian artist in Canada.
Oh Mercy is the 26th studio album by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, released on September 18, 1989 by Columbia Records. Produced by Daniel Lanois, it was hailed by critics as a triumph for Dylan, after a string of poorly reviewed albums. Oh Mercy gave Dylan his best chart showing in years, reaching No. 30 on the Billboard charts in the United States and No. 6 in the UK.
The Unforgettable Fire is the fourth studio album by Irish rock band U2. It was produced by Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois, and released on 1 October 1984 by Island Records. The band wanted to pursue a new musical direction following the harder-hitting rock of their previous album, War (1983). As a result, they employed Eno and Lanois to produce and assist in their experimentation with a more ambient sound. The resulting change in direction was at the time the band's most dramatic. The album's title is a reference to "The Unforgettable Fire", an art exhibit about the atomic bombing of Hiroshima.
Jeffrey Scott Martin is a Canadian guitarist and singer-songwriter, best known for fronting the Canadian rock band The Tea Party. Martin began his career as a solo artist in October 2005, when The Tea Party went on hiatus.
"Mysterious Ways" is a song by Irish rock band U2. It is the eighth track from their 1991 album Achtung Baby and was released as the album's second single on 2 December 1991. The song began as an improvisation called "Sick Puppy", with the band liking only the bass part that bassist Adam Clayton composed. The band struggled to build a song from it, with vocalist Bono and producer Daniel Lanois arguing intensely during one songwriting session. The song's breakthrough came after guitarist the Edge began experimenting with the Korg A3 effects unit. "Mysterious Ways" features a danceable beat, funky guitar hook, and conga-laden percussion, as well as mystical lyrics by Bono about romance and women.
The Edges of Twilight (1995) is the third album by The Tea Party. The album features many instruments from around the world, giving various songs a strong world music flavour in addition to the rock/blues influences evident in the band's earlier releases. Jeff Burrows explained that "basically we wanted to expand upon the initial idea that we tried on Splendor Solis, which was trying to incorporate different styles of world music into our music. So with this album we became more familiar with many more instruments. In our minds we were trying to do for a rock album what Peter Gabriel does to pop by infusing various cultures, percussion and exotic sounds into it."
"Bullet the Blue Sky" is a song by rock band U2 and is the fourth track from their 1987 album, The Joshua Tree. Lyrically, the song was inspired by a trip that lead vocalist Bono made to Nicaragua and El Salvador, where he saw firsthand how local peasants were affected by United States military intervention in the region. Angered by what he witnessed, Bono asked guitarist the Edge to "put El Salvador through an amplifier." "Bullet the Blue Sky" is one of the band's most overtly political songs, with live performances often being heavily critical of political conflicts and violence.
Splendor Solis (1993) is the second album by Canadian rock band The Tea Party, and their first major label release on EMI Music Canada. The album sold very well in Canada, reaching #20 on the Canadian album chart and achieving platinum status in 1994 and earning a Juno nomination for "Best Hard Rock Album". The band was also nominated for "Best New Group". Splendor Solis was also The Tea Party's first gold selling album in Australia.

It was originally released as a US Promo CD single with the album length of 5:27 and a 4:32 edited version, along with three other singles, "Rain Weather", "Elle Est Bonne Et Belle", and "Another Silver Morning", taken from the Warner video Rocky World. The song was featured by the Huffington Post in their 100 Best Canadian Songs Ever, at number 96.
Live at the Enmore Theatre (1999) is a live EP by The Tea Party and is the band's first live release. The EP was released through Australian radio station Triple J in a limited quantity of 100. Recorded live at the Enmore Theatre, Sydney on 7 October 1999, during the band's tour for Triptych, the EP features performances of songs from the album. A string quintet performs with the band on "The Messenger".
Live at the Enmore Theatre (2007) is a single DVD by Canadian singer/songwriter Jeff Martin and the Toronto Tabla Ensemble. Like the Live in Brisbane 2006 album, the performance was recorded during Martin's September tour of Australia. The DVD features an entire performance, as well as bonus material including an interview with Martin and Ritesh Das; backstage footage; scenes from soundcheck and an instore appearance; and a marriage proposal by a fan to another on stage.

The music for the 2018 action-adventure game Red Dead Redemption 2, developed and published by Rockstar Games, consists of an original score composed by musician Woody Jackson and an original soundtrack produced by Daniel Lanois. The soundtrack album was released digitally in July 2019, consisting of vocal tracks with artists such as D'Angelo, Willie Nelson, Rhiannon Giddens, and Josh Homme. The score album was released in August 2019, mostly consisting of Jackson's original work and collaborations with artists such as Colin Stetson, Senyawa, and Arca.
