Yo (album) 2019 album by Inna

Yo is the sixth studio album by Romanian singer Inna, released on 31 May 2019 by Global Records and Roc Nation. She commenced work on the record in 2016, and eventually decided for it to feature solely Spanish language material as inspired by a recent trip to Latin America. Inna has significantly contributed to the songwriting process of Yo and extensively collaborated with Romanian producer David Ciente on its songs. A self-described experimental and heavily gypsy music-influenced effort, Yo marks Inna's first time taking entire creative control over an album and acts as a departure from her past EDM releases. Lyrically, she often sings about the theme of love and presents several female characters seen from different perspectives as the album progresses.
