Loima is a constituency in Kenya created in 2012. [1] It is one of six constituencies of Turkana County. [2]
The North Eastern Province is one of the former provinces of Kenya. It had a land area of 127,358.5 km2, with its capital at Garissa. The North Eastern Province was carved out of the then Northern Frontier District (NFD) prior to independence.

Lodwar is the largest town in north-western Kenya, located west of Lake Turkana on the A1 road. Its main industries are basket weaving and tourism. The Loima Hills lie to its west. Lodwar is the capital of Turkana County. The town has a population of 82,970 in 2019.

It has a population of 2,417,735.
Turkana County is a county in the former Rift Valley Province of Kenya. It is Kenya's largest county by land area of 77,597.8km2 followed by Marsabit County with an area of 66,923.1km2. It is bordered by the countries of Uganda to the west; South Sudan and Ethiopia, including the disputed Ilemi Triangle, to the north and northeast; and Lake Turkana to the east. To the south and east, neighbouring counties in Kenya are West Pokot, Baringo and Samburu Counties, while Marsabit County is on the opposite shore of Lake Turkana. Turkana's capital and largest town is Lodwar. The county had a population of 926,976 at the 2019 census.
Makueni County is a county in the former Eastern Province of Kenya. Its capital town is Wote.The largest town is Emali town, which is also an important market and stop over for the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR). Emali town is multicultural and adds diversity to Makueni county.The county has a population of 987,653. The county lies between Latitude 1° 35' and 2° 59' South and Longitude 37° 10' and 38° 30' East. It borders Machakos County to the North, Kitui County to the East, Taita Taveta County to the South and Kajiado County to the West and covers an area of 8,008.9 km2.
Vihiga County is an administrative region in the former Western Province of Kenya with its headquarters in Mbale, the largest town in the county. According to the 2009 census,the county has a population of 554,622 and an area of 563 km2. Vihiga was formerly a district, split from Kakamega District in 1990. The 2019 census recorded a population of 590,013, a population of 590,013, an increase of 35,391 from the 2009 count.
Mandera County is one of the counties in Kenya that has its capital and largest town as Mandera. The county is bordered by Ethiopia to the north, Somalia to the east and Wajir County to the southwest. The first Professor from Ugenya was Prof. Henry Odera Oruka. It is also home to Kenyan most famous senior council and the incumbent governor of Siaya County Bob James Orengo.
