London All Peoples' Sports Association Football Club is a non-League football club, based in Plaistow, London, England.
The club was formed in 1993, corresponding with the creation of the first Asian Football League (AFL). They were originally known as Ahle Sunnah. [1] The team was set up by a group of friends from East Ham College in Newham who teamed up with a local youth team, known as Young Muslims, who were no longer eligible to play under-16s football. London APSA were crowned the first-ever Asian League Champions.
The club competed in Asian-run competitions until they decided to join the London Intermediate League in 2000. However, the club resigned pre-season and joined the Essex Business Houses League Senior Intermediate Division. They played in that division for three seasons, after which they joined the Essex Senior League for the start of the 2003–04 season and remained in the league until 2016. [2]
In 2014 the club was renamed Newham Football Club. [3] At the end of the 2015–16 season, the club resigned from the Essex Senior League after finishing bottom of the table, dropping into the Essex Olympian League. [4] The club also reverted to being named London APSA.
Clapton Football Club is a football club based in Plaistow, East London. The club are currently members of the Eastern Counties League Division One South and play at the Terence McMillan Stadium in Plaistow following their 2019 eviction from their long-term home, the Old Spotted Dog Ground in Forest Gate.
Redbridge Football Club is an English association football club based in Barkingside in the London Borough of Redbridge. Prior to July 2004 the club was known as Ford United F.C. The change of name was chosen to help associate the club within the local area and attract a larger support.
Leyton Football Club was an English association football club based in Leyton, in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. The club withdrew from the Isthmian League Division One North in January 2011 due to severe financial difficulties, and disbanded. The first club to go by the name was founded in 1868, and the last incarnation of the club, which began playing in 1997, won a High Court action in 2002 in support of its claim to be a continuation of the original team, making it at that stage the second oldest existing club in Greater London, after Cray Wanderers.
John Angus Lyall was an English footballer and manager primarily known for his 34 years at West Ham United. He played for the club as a youth, then as a first-team player before injury cut short his career. He then joined the coaching staff, before becoming the manager of the senior team in 1974. He stayed in that role until 1989. He subsequently went on to manage Ipswich Town from 1990 to 1994.
Walthamstow Football Club are a semi-professional football club based in Walthamstow, who play in the Isthmian League North Division. They have played under a number of names and were known as Leyton Pennant up until the end of the 2002–03 season, and Waltham Forest until the end of the 2017–18 season.
Sporting Bengal United Football Club is an English football team from Mile End, in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. They currently play in the Essex Senior League.

East Thurrock United Football Club was a football club based in Corringham, Essex, England. They last competed in the Isthmian League North Division, the eighth tier of English football, and played at Rookery Hill. The club was placed into liquidation by owner Alfie Best on 1 September 2023. The club stated this was due to historic debts from the previous owners.
