London Lituanica was a British basketball team who competed in the English Basketball League.
The team was created in 2010 by Lithuanian immigrants in London and started playing the Britain Lithuanians Basketball League.
In 2012, Lituanica joined the English Basketball League Division 3 finishing as runner-up of the league after losing to Plymouth Marjon in the finals. The club had the goal to be the strongest Lithuanian team in the UK and hopes joining the British Basketball League in the next years. [1]
In 2015 Lituanica achieved promotion to the top division of the EBL after being crowned as champion of the Division 2. [2]
On 14 September 2017, just one season after their debut in the Division 1, the club announced its withdrawal from competition. [3]

Lietuvos krepšinio lyga (LKL), also known as Betsafe LKL for sponsorship reasons, is the premier professional men's club basketball league in Lithuania. It is composed of 11 teams, and it is a member of the Lithuanian Basketball Federation. The best LKL clubs are also annual participants of the top European-wide basketball competitions, including the top-tier level EuroLeague.
Robertas Javtokas is a Lithuanian professional basketball executive and former player. He most recently served as sports director of Žalgiris Kaunas. Standing at 2.11 m, he played the center position. He has been a member of the senior men's Lithuanian national team since 2004. In the 2001 NBA draft, he was selected by the San Antonio Spurs with the 55th overall pick.
Jonas Mačiulis is a Lithuanian former professional basketball player who last played for AEK Athens of the Greek Basket League and the Basketball Champions League. Standing at 1.98 m, he mainly plays at the small forward position. As a member of the senior Lithuanian national team, he earned an All-EuroBasket Team selection in 2015, as Lithuania won the silver medal.
Andrija Žižić is a Croatian former professional basketball player and executive. Standing of 2.07 m tall, he played at both the power forward and center positions. He is currently the sporting director for Cibona of the ABA League and the Croatian League.
Donatas Slanina is a Lithuanian professional basketball player who plays as a shooting guard in his professional career. He also shortly worked as an assistant coach. After starting his professional career in Šiauliai, he was best known for playing in Lithuanian champion Žalgiris and Pallacanestro Reggiana. He is one of the best three point shooter in Europe. Slanina also was member of Lithuania national team, winning gold medal in Eurobasket 2003.
Marko Popović is a Croatian basketball executive and former professional basketball player. Standing at a height of 1.85 m, he played at the point guard and shooting guard positions. He currently serves as a sporting director for Zenit Saint Petersburg of the VTB United League and the EuroLeague.
