Long Live Heavy Metal is the fifth studio album from the Canadian heavy metal band 3 Inches of Blood. It is the second 3 Inches of Blood album to be released through Century Media and not feature Jamie Hooper on screaming vocals, [4] and is their only release to feature the same line-up as the previous one. This would also be the band's final studio album before disbanding in 2015 and reuniting in 2023. [5]

Although Byron Stroud appears on the credits as the bassist member of the band, all bass on the album was performed by Justin Hagberg & Shane Clark. Both were credited using a ficticional character, 'Shustin Hagblark', a mix of both names.

Disembowelment, often styled as diSEMBOWELMENT, was an Australian death-doom band that formed in November 1989 featuring Renato Gallina on guitar and vocals, and Paul Mazziotta on drums. Fire Up the Blades is the third studio album by Canadian heavy metal band 3 Inches of Blood. It was released on 26 June 2007 by Roadrunner Records and is the band's final release through the label. It is also the first release by the band to feature lead guitarist Justin Hagberg, rhythm guitarist Shane Clark, bassist Nick Cates and drummer Alexei Rodriguez, the latter of whom was kicked out of the band six months later.

"Cities on Flame with Rock and Roll" is the debut single by American hard rock band Blue Öyster Cult from their eponymous debut album Blue Öyster Cult. Despite not charting, it has become a staple at concerts, and is regarded as one of their most famous songs. Its demo is credited with getting the band signed with Columbia Records. Lead vocals were performed by their drummer, Albert Bouchard. The lyrics of the song describe the devastation of a nuclear war with metaphors likening the destruction to rock and roll music.

Trial of Champions is the second EP by Canadian power metal band 3 Inches of Blood. It was released in digital download format on October 17, 2007 by Roadrunner Records. The title track was inspired by the Fighting Fantasy game book of the same name, and features a similar plot in which an enslaved gladiator fights his way to victory, and ultimately kills the emperor. "In the Time of Job When Mammon Was a Yippie" is a cover of a song by progressive rock band Lucifer's Friend, from their debut album. "Key to Oblivion" is a B-side from the band's previous studio album, Fire Up the Blades.

<i>Here Waits Thy Doom</i> 2009 studio album by 3 Inches of Blood

Here Waits Thy Doom is the fourth studio album from the Canadian heavy metal band 3 Inches of Blood. It is the first 3 Inches of Blood album not to feature vocalist Jamie Hooper and thus the first to feature no founding members of the band. This is also the first 3 Inches of Blood album released through Century Media. On June 29, 2009 members of the Goatriders Horde fan club were granted the first to listen to the new song "Call of the Hammer." The song was available for streaming via the band's Myspace page starting July 8, 2009. On September 9 the band released a new music video for the track "Silent Killer".

True Defiance is the sixth studio album by American Christian metal band Demon Hunter. It was released April 10, 2012. Production work for the album comes from regular Solid State and Tooth & Nail Records producer Aaron Sprinkle while mixing was finished by Jason Suecof.
