Lonnie Sterling Bradley (born September 16, 1968) is an American former boxer.
Born in Charleston, SC Bradley was an amateur standout and compiled a stellar career, capturing two New York Golden Gloves Championships. In 1992 he was also a National Golden Gloves Champion.
Bradley turned pro in 1992 and won the Vacant WBO Middleweight Title in 1995 with a TKO of David Mendez. Bradley defended the title six times before relinquishing the belt, including victories over Simon Brown [1] and John Williams. [2] Bradley retired in 2003 after suffering his lone defeat, a TKO loss to David Alonso Lopez.

Thomas Hearns is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1977 to 2006. Nicknamed the "Motor City Cobra", and more famously "The Hitman", Hearns's tall, slender build and oversized arms and shoulders allowed him to move up over fifty pounds in his career and become the first boxer in history to win world titles in five weight divisions: welterweight, light middleweight, middleweight, super middleweight and light heavyweight.

The Golden Gloves of America is an organization that promotes annual competitions of amateur boxing in the United States, in which winners are awarded a belt and a ring, and the title of national champion.
