Lonnie Gene Clark (born January 1,1944) is an American politician. He has served as a Republican member for the 65th district in the Kansas House of Representatives since 2015. [1] [2] [3] He is an Episcopalian. [4]
Baker University is a private university in Baldwin City,Kansas,United States. Founded in 1858,it was the first four-year university in Kansas and is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Baker University is made up of four schools. The College of Arts and Sciences and the undergraduate courses in the School of Education (SOE) are located on the campus in Baldwin City. The School of Professional and Graduate Studies (SPGS) and the graduate branch of the SOE serve nontraditional students on campuses in Overland Park,Kansas,and online. The School of Nursing,which is operated in partnership with Stormont Vail Health in Topeka,offers a Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) and an online Master of Science in nursing (MSN). Enrollment in all four schools has grown to a student population more than 3,000,with about 900 students on the Baldwin City campus.

The Royals would proceed to defeat their cross-state rivals,the St. Louis Cardinals,in the World Series four games to three.
Lonnie Smith is an American former Major League Baseball left fielder. He made his debut for the Philadelphia Phillies on September 2,1978,and later played for the St. Louis Cardinals,Kansas City Royals,Atlanta Braves,Pittsburgh Pirates,and Baltimore Orioles. The Call was a bad call made by umpire Don Denkinger in Game 6 of the 1985 World Series between the Kansas City Royals and St. Louis Cardinals on October 26,1985 at Royals Stadium in Kansas City,Missouri. The Royals lost the first two games of the World Series at their home stadium and were on the verge of elimination,down 1–0 in the bottom of the ninth in Game 6,when Denkinger ruled Royals runner Jorge Orta safe at first. Television replays and photographs showed that Orta was out by half a step,and Denkinger received hateful letters and death threats from Cardinals fans following the game. The Royals went on to win the 1985 World Series.
