Loose Buttons are a New York City-based indie rock band. Its members include Eric Nizgretsky (singer), Zack Kantor (lead guitar), Manny Silverstein (bass), and Adam Holtzberg (drums). Bloc Party are an English rock band, composed of Kele Okereke, Russell Lissack, Justin Harris and Louise Bartle. Former members Matt Tong and Gordon Moakes left the band in 2013 and 2015 respectively. Their brand of music, whilst rooted in rock, retains elements of other genres such as electronica and house music. The band was formed at the 1999 Reading Festival by Okereke and Lissack. They went through a variety of names before settling on Bloc Party in 2003. Moakes joined the band after answering an advert in NME magazine, while Tong was picked via an audition. Bloc Party got their break by giving BBC Radio 1 DJ Steve Lamacq and Franz Ferdinand's lead singer, Alex Kapranos, a copy of their demo "She's Hearing Voices".

Gus Oberg is a Swedish music producer and recording engineer. He is best known as the longtime engineer and a producer of American rock band The Strokes, for whom he has worked since 2009. Oberg is also a close collaborator of Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. and has worked on every one of his solo records. Since the late 2000s, Oberg has produced numerous indie rock albums and has often worked with Hammond Jr. or Johnny T Yerington as a producing partner. Oberg was awarded a Grammy Award in 2006 for his engineering work.
Black Country, New Road are an English rock band formed in Cambridgeshire in 2018, consisting of Tyler Hyde, Lewis Evans, May Kershaw, Georgia Ellery, Charlie Wayne and Luke Mark. The band's first two albums featured guitarist and lead vocalist Isaac Wood, who left the band in 2022.
