Lord of the Past: A Compilation is a 1989 album by Bob Bennett, his fourth release and only true official 'greatest hits' compilation, including four new songs. [2] The release reached 30th position on Billboard magazine's Top Contemporary Christian chart in 1990. [1] Its title song reached number one on the Christian radio charts in early 1990. [3] In 2013, Urgent Records producer, Phillip Sandifer, was quoted in an interview as saying that the high point of the Urgent Records era was when "Bob Bennett's song 'Lord Of The Past' reached number one on the AC charts." All That Matters (Michael Bolton album) 1997 studio album by Michael Bolton

All That Matters is an album by Michael Bolton, released in 1997, and was his first studio album since 1993's "The One Thing". Bolton’s U.S. fans were puzzled by the album’s title, "All That Matters", until the phrase was found on the bonus track, "When There Are No Words", on the UK version of the album. The two singles from the album, "The Best of Love", and "Safe Place from the Storm" were disappointing in sales and radio play, and fans were disappointed that the songs were performed only a handful of times during Bolton’s 1998 tour in support of the album. This was Bolton's longest studio album, the only one so far to be more than an hour in length, although some Greatest Hits compilations have been longer.

The normal [procedure] in Christian music is that if you go through a divorce, you simply go underground for a year and show up with a new spouse, and no one's the wiser. When Songs From Bright Avenue came out, I realized that this was not going to be the 'Hey-let's-buy-a-big-bag-of-Fritos-and-invite-the-gang-over' type of record. I've had people tell me that it was just too painful to listen to. I say, 'I understand that, but go back and listen and see if you can find some hope there because I certainly tried [to convey that]'."
