SM U-104 was a German Type U 57 U-boat during the First World War. U-104 was built at AG Weser in Bremen, launched on 3 July 1917 and commissioned on 12 August 1917. She completed four patrols under Kptlt. Kurt Bernis and was responsible for the sinking of eight vessels of a total of 10,795 gross register tons (GRT). Among these was the American lightship LV 71, stationed at Diamond Shoals; the latter reported the submarine's presence in the area, at which point Bernis notified the lightship of his intentions and allowed her crew to depart before shelling the vessel and sinking her.

Harbour Glacier

Harbour Glacier is a through glacier 3 nautical miles (6 km) long and 1.5 nautical miles (3 km) wide, lying on the northwest side of Wiencke Island and extending in a northeast direction from Port Lockroy to the cove 1 nautical mile (2 km) east of Noble Peak, in the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica. It was probably first seen by the Belgian Antarctic Expedition, 1897–99, under Gerlache. The glacier was charted in 1944 by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey, who so named it because of its proximity to the harbour of Port Lockroy.

McNeile Glacier is a glacier flowing northward along the east slopes of Klokotnitsa Ridge to the southeast side of Almond Point where it enters Charcot Bay just east of Borovan Knoll, on the west side of Graham Land, Antarctica. It was charted in 1948 by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) and named for S.St.C. McNeile, a surveyor at the FIDS Hope Bay base in 1948–49.

El Valle del Espíritu Santo Place in Nueva Esparta, Venezuela

El Valle del Espíritu Santo is a village near Porlamar, in the Nueva Esparta state of Venezuela. Founded as the capital of the island in 1529, El Valle del Espíritu Santo is just north of Porlamar. It is the birth town of Santiago Mariño and his sister, Concepción Mariño, as well as where the patron of the island, the Virgin of El Valle appeared. In the village there is a has a pink-and-white church honoring the Virgen del Valle. Visitors go to the village all year-round, but especially on her feast day in early September.
