Losers are a British band consisting of DJ Eddy Temple-Morris, multi-instrumentalist Tom Bellamy (formerly of The Cooper Temple Clause), guitarist Paul Mullen (formerly of Yourcodenameis:milo and The Automatic). During their live performances they get supported by Dean "Denzel" Pearson (drums) and Sammi Doll (also keyboardist of Berlin/LA based band IAMX) and Bullet Height). Their former drummer was Mark Heron (formerly of Oceansize).

History

Losers formed in 2007 as the remix project of Temple-Morris and Bellamy. [1] They released their first album, "Beautiful Losers", in September 2010. [2] The first single "Flush", featuring rappers Riz MC and Envy, received coverage from the music press [3] and the BBC. [4]

Guitarist Paul Mullen joined the band in October 2010, [5] marking the start of a move away from dance-oriented music and towards more guitar-focused rock music. By summer 2011 drummer Mark Heron had also joined the band, and they began working on their second album "...And So We Shall Never Part". [6] [7] [8] The album was released on 4 April 2014. [9] The single "Turn Around" was used as the backing music for the trailer for the fourth season of US television series Game of Thrones, [10] [11] while their single "Azan" was used on the intro for Mnet's dance competition, Street Women Fighter, [12] [13] Soundtrack for Royal Blood episode of Reign, [14] [15] trailer for the film Hercules and the video game Far Cry 3. [16] Lately they have been touring Europe as guests of Sisters Of Mercy. [17]

Their song "Us vs Night" was played during the first season of The Shannara Chronicles. [18]

He is also a keen DJ and has remixed several songs by the Cooper Temple Clause as part of his side project, Rhysmix. Following the split of the band, Bellamy has turned his full attention to remixing and DJing under the Rhysmix alias. He is currently collaborating with DJ Eddy Temple-Morris under the name Losers, remixing and producing music in the Bleak House, a studio in rural Berkshire that formerly housed the Cooper Temple Clause.

The Strange Familiar is an American pop rock band from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. The group was originally formed in 2006 by the husband and wife singer-songwriter team Jeff Andrea and Kira Leyden, former members of the popular Akron, OH band Jaded Era. Their first single, "Courage Is...", gained them significant attention after it was heavily promoted on ABC Family to launch a brand new series. In 2012, the band was featured on mtvU, Season 3 of the hit series The Vampire Diaries and Pretty Little Liars. Other members include fellow Ohio natives Frank Freeman (bass) and Nicholas Sainato (drums).

"The 2nd Law: Unsustainable" is a song by English rock band Muse released on their 2012 album The 2nd Law. The song's music video was made downloadable on 9 August 2012, but only after buying the deluxe box set of the album on the band's official site. The song appears to feature in a trailer for The 2nd Law, released on 6 June 2012, making it the first song released from The 2nd Law. Despite assumptions, due to it being the first sampling from the album, the song was never released as a single for the album.

Sonic Highways is a 2014 American documentary miniseries directed by Dave Grohl and written by Mark Monroe. The documentary was made concurrently with Foo Fighters' eighth album, Sonic Highways, and was broadcast on HBO. Grohl described the project as "a love letter to the history of American music". Each of the eight episodes is presented as an exploration of the musical history of a different American city through a series of interviews by Grohl. Endless Forms Most Beautiful is the eighth studio album by Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish. It was released on 25 March 2015 in Japan, 27 March in Argentina and most of Europe, 30 March in the UK and 31 March in the US. The album is the band's first featuring singer Floor Jansen and the first with Troy Donockley as a full-time member. It was also the first without drummer Jukka Nevalainen, who took a break from the band due to severe insomnia. Drumming was by Kai Hahto of Wintersun and Swallow the Sun. The album includes only five Nightwish members, despite its being their first album release as a sextet.

The Shannara Chronicles is an American fantasy drama television series created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. It is an adaptation of The Sword of Shannara trilogy of fantasy novels by Terry Brooks. It follows three heroes as they protect an ancient tree to stop the escape of banished demons. The series was filmed in the Auckland Film Studios and on location elsewhere in New Zealand.
