The University of Southern Denmark is a university in Denmark that has campuses located in Southern Denmark and on Zealand.
DR, officially the Danish Broadcasting Corporation in English, is a Danish public-service radio and television broadcasting company. Founded in 1925 as a public-service organization, it is Denmark's oldest and largest electronic media enterprise. DR is a founding member of the European Broadcasting Union.
Christoffer Valkendorff was a Danish statesman and landowner. His early years in the service of Frederick II brought him both to Norway, Ösel and Livland. He later served both as Treasurer and Stadtholder of Copenhagen and finally as Steward of the Realm from 1596 to 1601. He owned Glorup Manor on Funen from 1535 to 1601, whose current main building he constructed, although it has later been adapted in the Neoclassical style. He also constructed the local Svindinge Church, one of the best preserved Renaissance style churches in Denmark. He founded the dormitory Valkendorfs Kollegium in Copenhagen where the street Valkendorfsgade is named after him.
Niels Hemmingsen was a 16th-century Danish Lutheran theologian. He was pastor of the Church of the Holy Ghost, Copenhagen and professor at the University of Copenhagen.
Martin Hoberg Hedegaard or Saveus is a Danish singer, songwriter and record producer. In 2016 he wrote and produced the EP "Will Somebody Save Us" and in 2018 he released his first full-length album "Neuro". The same year critics praised his opening of the Orange Stage at Roskilde Festival calling it "the best openings in years".

He received his medical degree from Kasr-el-Aini Medical School, Cairo University, Egypt (1985) and received his post-graduate training in internal medicine and endocrinology in Denmark and USA. He obtained his PhD degree (1994) and DSc degrees (1998) from Aarhus University, Denmark.

Thomas Heebøll-Holm is a medieval historian at the SAXO Institute at the University of Copenhagen. He is most known for his research involving medieval knights and the possibility that they suffered from Post-traumatic stress disorder and other hardships. In his research, Heeboll-Holm has aimed to apply modern military psychology on the history of knights, using information gained in recent decades on the psychological effects of war on soldiers. Heeboll-Holm has studied a number of ancient texts but has focused on three books by Geoffroi de Charny.

Rubina Raja is a classical archaeologist educated at University of Copenhagen (Denmark), La Sapienza University (Rome) and University of Oxford (England). She is professor (chair) of classical archaeology at Aarhus University and centre director of the Danish National Research Foundation’s Centre of Excellence for Urban Network Evolutions (UrbNet). She specialises in the cultural, social and religious archaeology and history of past societies. Research foci include urban development and network studies, architecture and urban planning, the materiality of religion as well as iconography from the Hellenistic to Early Medieval periods. Her publications include articles, edited volumes and monographs on historiography, ancient portraiture and urban archaeology as well as themes in the intersecting fields between humanities and natural sciences. Rubina Raja received her DPhil degree from the University of Oxford in 2005 with a thesis on urban development and regional identities in the eastern Roman provinces under the supervision of Professors R.R.R. Smith and Margareta Steinby. Thereafter, she held a post-doctoral position at Hamburg University, Germany, before she in 2007 moved to a second post-doctoral position at Aarhus University, Denmark. In 2011-2016, she was a member of the Young Academy of Denmark, where she was elected chairwoman in 2013.
Troels Kløvedal was a Danish author, long-distance sailor and lecturer based in Ebeltoft, Denmark. He and his family is known for their circumnavigation of earth in the steel galleass Nordkaperen, which he and two friends bought in 1967.

Rasmus Paludan is a Danish-Swedish politician and former lawyer. He is the leader of the far-right political party Hard Line, which he founded in 2017. He is the older brother of poet Tine Paludan and writer Martin Paludan. Paludan himself has a migration background as his father is Swedish journalist Tomas Polvall and he has lived in Sweden at times, which according to himself gives him the right to Swedish citizenship. In October 2020 Paludan was officially declared a Swedish citizen by authorities as his father is Swedish.
Karin Margarita Frei is an Argentinean-Danish archaeological scientist. She is a research professor in archaeometry at the National Museum of Denmark in Copenhagen. She has developed new methodologies for using isotopes to trace human and animal mobility, including the high time-resolution tracing technique for human hair and finger nails as well as ancient wool.
The Centre for Advanced Migration Studies (AMIS), is a research centre at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. It engages in interdisciplinary research and postgraduate teaching concerning human migration. The centre is part of a growing trend in recognizing migration studies as a distinct field of academic research.
The Witch trials in Denmark are poorly documented, with the exception of the region of Jylland in the 1609–1687 period. The most intense period in the Danish witchcraft persecutions was the 1620s.
