A Chesley Award nominee, [1] Lubov's work has appeared internationally in numerous print publications and galleries, on multiple cards for the games Magic: The Gathering [2] and Galactic Empires , [3] and on the covers of various books, comics, event programs, and magazines. [4] She is also a regular guest artist and speaker at numerous science-fiction and fantasy conventions, worldwide.
Her Dungeons & Dragons work includes On Hallowed Ground .
Lubov claims to have trained at the Saint Petersburg Academy of Arts in Russia, where her focus was on the classical application of oils. Seeking (she says) political and cultural freedom, she claims to have emigrated from Russia to the United States, where she says she studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago on a four-year scholarship.[ citation needed ]
From 1993 to the present, Lubov's focus on the worlds of science fiction and fantasy led her to become a regular seminar speaker and/or guest artist at numerous conventions, including Westercon, [5] Xanadu, Loscon, [6] Demicon, [7] LoneStarCon 2, [8] LepreCon, [9] Balticon, [10] Artist Guest of Honor at Arisia '14, [11] and others.
Worldcon, or more formally the World Science Fiction Convention, the annual convention of the World Science Fiction Society (WSFS), is a science fiction convention. The members of each Worldcon are the members of WSFS, and vote both to select the site of the Worldcon two years later, and to select the winners of the annual Hugo Awards, which are presented at each convention.

David Cherry is an American artist, author, and illustrator of science fiction and fantasy and has also done substantial work as a marketing artist, concept artist, and 3D modeler in the game production industry. Cherry served as Lecturer and Head of the Art Department as well as Head of the master's degree Program for artists at The Guildhall at SMU, a graduate college dedicated to studies for people who want to work in the game production industry. Cherry was also an attorney, as well as a past president of the Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists (1988–1990). He has been nominated eleven times for Hugo Awards, and 18 times for Chesley Awards.

It is the second oldest science fiction convention in Arizona. It is sponsored by LepreCon, Inc., an Arizona non-profit corporation. LepreCon 43 was held July 1–4, 2017; in November, 2017, LepreCon, Inc. chose to cancel LepreCon 44 in the previously announced format as the Phoenix Sci-Fi & Fantasy Art Expo, which had been scheduled for March 2018 at the Unexpected Art Gallery.

She was the editor for the Bad-Ass Faeries, which was a finalist for the Dream Realm Award for best anthology, and her novel Tomorrow's Memories was a finalist for the 2008 Dream Realm Award for best fantasy. Bad-Ass Faeries 3: In All Their Glory won the best anthology at the 2011 EPIC award for best eBook anthology.
