Luca Oliveira Meirelles (born 15 March 2007), known as Luca Meirelles, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a forward for Ukrainian Premier League club Shakhtar Donetsk.

Born in Goiânia, Goiás, Luca Meirelles joined Santos' youth setup in 2018, aged ten, after playing in a football school in his hometown. ^[1] He signed his first professional contract with the club on 20 July 2023, after agreeing to a three-year deal. ^[2]

On 12 November 2024, Luca Meirelles renewed his link with Peixe until December 2029, ^[3] and was promoted to the main squad two days later. ^[4] He made his professional debut on 17 November, coming on as a late substitute for Giuliano in a 2–0 home loss to CRB, as the club was already champions. ^[5]

Shakhtar Donetsk

On 28 August 2025, Meirelles joined Ukrainian Premier League side Shakhtar Donetsk for a reported €12m fee, signing a five-year contract. ^{[6] [7]}

International career

In June 2024, Luca Meirelles was called up to the Brazil national under-17 team. ^[8] He played for the nation in the Cascais Luso Cup, scoring in all three matches of the competition, ^[9] and notably netting a hat-trick in a 16–1 win over São Tomé and Príncipe. ^[10]

On 22 July 2025, Luca Meirelles and Santos teammate Gabriel Bontempo were called up to the under-20 team for two friendlies against Paraguay. ^[11]
