Luciano Caruso (born 19 July 1957, in Turin, Italy) is an Italian Jazz composer and Soprano saxophone performer.
In 1973, he moved to Vittorio Veneto to attend the music institute "Toti Dal Monte" in Pieve di Soligo and afterwards the school "Dizzy Gillespie" in Bassano del Grappa. He attended several workshops with Renato Geremia (1977), Gary Burton (1984) and Steve Lacy(1994).
He has played with musicians such as Eddi Busnello, Nello Da Pont, Giovanni Maier, Gianluigi Trovesi, Carlo Actis Dato, Giorgio Pacorig, Daniele Cavallanti, Michele Rabbia, Massimo De Mattia, Daniele Dagaro, Achille Succi, Ermes Ghirardini, Lauro Rossi, Romano Todesco, and U.T.Gandhi.
In 1992, along with drummer Nello Da Pont, he started "Progetto Exit". A school of jazz and experimental music based in Vittorio Veneto. He is the director of "Banda comunale della Città di Vittorio Veneto" and a member of "Phophonix Orchestra".

Giuseppe Daniele, known as Pino Daniele, was an Italian singer, songwriter and musician. His influences covered a wide number of genres, including pop, blues, jazz, and Italian and Middle Eastern music.
Giovanni Domenico Nardo was an Italian naturalist from Venice, although he spent most of his life in Chioggia, home port of the biggest fishing flotilla of the Adriatic. He learned taxidermy and specimen preparation from his uncle, an abbot. He went in a high school in Udine and studied medicine in Padua, where he reorganized the zoological collections. In 1832 he reorganized the invertebrate collection at the Imperial Natural History Museum in Vienna and in 1840 he became Fellow of the Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti, an academy whose aim is "to increase, promulgate, and safeguard the sciences, literature and the arts". Nardo wrote hundreds of scientific publications ranging from medicine and social sciences, philology, technology, physics, but mostly on Venetian and Adriatic zoology. In marine biology, Nardo wrote on algae, marine invertebrates, fishes and sea turtles. A vast collection of his manuscripts and his personal library is preserved in the Natural History Museum of Venice.

Refrontolo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Treviso in the Italian region Veneto, located about 50 kilometres north of Venice and about 30 km (19 mi) north of Treviso, representing the third smallest municipality by number of inhabitants (1,732) in the province, preceded only by Portobuffolé and Monfumo. It is located in a hilly viewpoint between Quartier del Piave and Montello, and it is crossed by the Prosecco and Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Hills Wine Road established in 1966. The municipality is in fact famous for the production of the Marzemino wine. Since July 7, 2019, Refrontolo's hills have been inscribed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site as The Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene.
Vittorio Ghielmi is an Italian musician, conductor, compose Compared by critics to Jasha Heifetz ("Diapason") for his virtuosity, and described as "An Alchemist of sound" for the intensity and versatility of his musical interpretations, Vittorio Ghielmi attracted notice while still very young for his new approach to the viola da gamba and to the sound of early music repertoire. He is Professor for viola da gamba and Head of the Department für Alte Musik at the Mozarteum Universität Salzburg and visiting professor at the Royal College of London. He is graduate at the Università Cattolica di Milano.
Daniele Pontoni is a former Italian professional cyclo-cross cyclist. Pontoni was World Champion of cyclo-cross by the amateurs in 1992 and by the elite in 1997. He was Italian cyclo-cross champion from 1996 to 2004. He also competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics.

The Division "Vittorio Veneto" Italian: Divisione "Vittorio Veneto" is one of three active divisions of the Italian Army. The division is based in Florence in Tuscany and part of the Operational Land Forces Command. The division carries on the name and traditions of the Cold War Italian Army Armored Brigade "Vittorio Veneto". Brigade and division were named for the decisive Italian World War I victory at the Battle of Vittorio Veneto.
