Lucy Wilangi Siame [1] (born 1985), known professionally as Lucy Love, is a rapper, singer and artist from Copenhagen, Denmark.

Early life

Lucy Siame was born in 1985 in Zambia to a white British mother and Zambian father. They moved to Copenhagen when Lucy was two years old. [2] [3] [4]

Career

Lucy Love has made two albums with her producer and band member Yo Akim (Joakim Hjejle), Superbillion and Kilo. Notable singles are "No V.I.P.", "Daddy Was A DJ", "Poison", "Who You Are" & "Thunder". [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] She is also known for her visual liveshows. [13] [14] [15] [16] [17] [18]

In 2018, she participated in season 15 of Vild med dans, finishing in fourth place alongside professional dancer Michael Olesen. [19]

Dizzy Mizz Lizzy have stated that they are influenced by The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and Nirvana, but are not very fond of the designation grunge, which Dizzy perceived as an overused buzzword in 1994. Between 1994 and 1997, they were highly successful in Denmark and Japan and are credited for heading the 1990s rock revival in Denmark with their studio albums Dizzy Mizz Lizzy (1994) and Rotator (1996). After the group disbanded in 1998, Christensen started a successful solo career.
