Luis Nubiola (born May 28, 1974) is a Cuban-born jazz saxophonist, composer and teacher.
Luis is graduated as an instrumentalist saxophone teacher from the National Conservatory of Music in Havana Amadeo Roldan. He studied under the class of Carlos Averhoff.
He joined the Cuban music group PG, under the direction of conductor and flutist José Luis Cortes (El Tosco), founder of the group NG La Banda.
In 2001, Luis Nubiola moved to Costa Rica. In December 2005 he recorded his first CD, a musical production under the name of “Nubiola”. In December 2008, Luis Nubiola produced “Live at Jazz Café” the first Jazz DVD ever recorded in Costa Rica together with Dart. This DVD is a live version of “Nubiola” CD which within the same year, made him the winner of the ACAM [1] award as “Composer of the Year in Jazz Genre”. In his new material “914”, also with Dart and awarded as Best Album of the Year 2009, was a double DVD/CD.
Since 2009, Luis Nubiola lives in Europe. Luis Nubiola Trio and his release: "Memories from the Baltic", he is promoting his work and recording new material with musicians from Poland. With these artists, Luis Nubiola fuses aspects of his Cuban culture and the recognized tradition of Polish jazz, whilst incorporating aspects of the traditional folk music of both cultures.
The recording "O3", is an international coalition with his friend Frank Parker(USA) and Marcin Checzke (Poland), once again forming a trio with special guests, Wojciech Olszewski and Krzysztof Dys (piano) and Marcin Mały Górny (pads).
Luis Nubiola Live at the Music Theatre in Lodz (feat. Jose Torres), five tunes with a special guest, the Cuban percussionist Jose Torres, who has lived in Poland for over thirty years. This material is part of a series of songs composed by Luis Nubiola during a four months visit to the Republic of Turkey. One of these tunes, “Aturk”, is dedicated to the father of the Turkish homeland, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
Along with Jose Torres this material features great Polish musicians such as Wojciech Olszewski on piano, Krzysztof Szmańda drums and Marcin Chenczke double bass.

Global Friendship is an idea to unify compositions from great musicians and friends who has residence in such as different places as Cuba, Poland, Costa Rica, USA, Spain etc. This album has the participation of Krzysztof Szmanda drums, Marcin Chenczke bass Krzysztof Dys piano, like in previous recordings, including this time as special guests the trombonist Michał Tomaszczyk and Ola Trzaska voice.

Parque en el Espacio is a popular Costa Rican indie rock band. Formed by Fernán Castro 'Zurdo', Abel Guier, Camilo Poltronieri and Luis Fernando Ruiz 'Wash' (drums). The band was originally formed in early 2001, and was first an electronic fusion trio, with a light trip hop sound. Over the years there have been many facets and musicians, but the current members appeared between 2004 and 2005. The four members come from other very well known bands form Costa Rica, such as Evolución, Gandhi and Mekatelyu. The only original member is Zurdo, who also has a popular electronic fusion duo called Santos&Zurdo.
Alfredo Rodríguez Salicio is a Cuban composer and jazz pianist.

Glenda López Exposito, better known by her stage name Glenda, is a Cuban-born singer, songwriter and flute player. She was born in Havana, Cuba into a musical family. Her mother, Bellita, is a well-known jazz pianist and singer. Glenda's mother shares her interest in music and Glenda cites her mother as a powerful influence who encouraged her musical expansion. She started attend musical lessons at the age of 5. Later, she studied at music school of Alejandro García Caturla and from 2003 on Conservatory Amadeo Roldán, both in Havana. She also performed with Orquesta de Flauta, led by influential flute player José Luis Cortéz and in Sinfónica de la Habana as a first flute player.
Obywatel G.C. was a Polish supergroup band created by Polish rock musician Grzegorz Ciechowski. The band was formed in 1986, after Ciechowski attempted to pursue a solo career after breaking up with another band called Republika. The group had different musicians from different genres, chosen by Ciechowski as the best jazz men and rockers in Poland. These people were Jan Borysewicz, one of the founders of Lady Pank, Wojciech Karolak, a notable jazz and blues musician, Krzysztof Ścierański, bass guitarist, and José Torres, a Cuban-Polish drummer. In total, they have had a total of 5 LPs and several singles. The band became notable in 1988 with the album Tak! Tak!, which had at the most 300,000 copies circulating and was awarded a gold disc. The band was disbanded in 1992, when Ciechowski reentered Republika.

Mari Sano is a Japanese artist and composer working in multiple media, including the charango, the ocarina, percussion and photography. She lives in Mexico and Argentina. She produced three albums From Beginning (1996), Latin Park (1999) and Friendship Musical (2008). Her compositions have received awards and cultural recognition in music, photography and performance.
