Luke O'Loughlin (born 23 December 1985) is an Australian actor and musician.

O'Loughlin was born in Adelaide, to former model Tanya Powell of Tanya Powell Model Agency, [1] and is a graduate of University Senior College. [2]

O'Loughlin is best known as the star of 90's children's TV show, Chuck Finn, where he played a Canadian child who moved to Australia where he discovers a paddle steamer occupied by ghosts. [2] [3]

In 2002, O'Loughlin won an Australian Film Institute Best Young Actor nomination for Escape of the Artful Dodger. [2]

Currently O'Loughlin is the lead vocalist in the Australian band I Know Leopard, [4] and was formerly the lead vocalist of New Navy and the drummer of the Sydney punk outfit These New South Whales.

Recently O’Loughlin has been co-writing with other artists, such as Foster The People and electronic duo The Knocks on their 2020 single ‘All About You’. [5]

Growing up O'Loughlin listened to his parents’ ELO, 10cc and Alan Parsons Project records on repeat which has inspired some of his work with I Know Leopard. [6]

O'Loughlin is in a relationship with Rosie Fizgerald, the bassist from I Know Leopard. [4]

Oliver Twist; or, the Parish Boy's Progress is Charles Dickens's second novel, and was published as a serial from 1837 to 1839 and released as a three-volume book in 1838, before the serialisation ended. It was published as a book in 1838. The story centres on orphan Oliver Twist, born in a workhouse and sold into apprenticeship with an undertaker. After escaping, Oliver travels to London, where he meets the "Artful Dodger", a member of a gang of juvenile pickpockets led by the elderly criminal Fagin.

Jack Dawkins, better known as the Artful Dodger, is a character in Charles Dickens' 1838 novel Oliver Twist. The Dodger is a pickpocket, so called for his skill and cunning in that occupation. He is the leader of the gang of child criminals, trained by the elderly Fagin.

Artful Dodger is a UK garage duo, originally based in the city Southampton, which became famous for its 2-step hits and gave Craig David's career a boost after he appeared on their 1999 number-two hit "Re-Rewind". They scored seven consecutive UK top-20 hit singles from 1999 to 2001. The band is named after a character in the Charles Dickens novel Oliver Twist, because of the many bootlegs they made in the early days. They are referred to in the Streets' single "Let's Push Things Forward". Many Artful Dodger tracks can be found on the UK garage compilation album series Pure Garage, mixed by DJ EZ.

Adam Roy Goodes is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League (AFL). Goodes holds an elite place in VFL/AFL history as a dual Brownlow Medallist, dual premiership player, four-time All-Australian, member of the Indigenous Team of the Century and representative of Australia in the International Rules Series. I Know Leopard

I Know Leopard are an Australian pop band from Sydney, New South Wales. The band was formed in 2012, and features Luke O'Loughlin on vocals and keyboards, Rosie Fitzgerald on bass and Jennifer McCullagh on violin and keyboards. They released their debut album, Love is a Landmine, in 2019.
