Luke Pegler (born 1981) is an Australian actor who is known for Scott Wiper's The Condemned and Gregory Dark's See No Evil .

Career

Pegler has starred in two WWE Films productions: The Condemned with Stone Cold Steve Austin, and See No Evil with Kane. Pegler appeared as Daniel Griggs in Packed to the Rafters from 2008 to 2009. [2] The actor joined the cast of Rescue: Special Ops in 2010 as Gary Bing. [1] In August 2011, it was announced Pegler had joined the cast of Neighbours for six weeks as Dane Canning. [3] Pegler took over storylines planned for Chris Milligan's character Kyle Canning, after the actor snapped an Achilles tendon. [3] Pegler wrapped his guest stint on 23 September. [4]

In 2023, Pegler joined the filming for the second season of Foxtel drama The Twelve (Australian TV series) . [5]

In June 2024, Pegler joined the filming for the second season of Scrublands. [6]

Kyle Canning is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera Neighbours, played by Chris Milligan. The actor successfully auditioned for the six-week recurring role of Kyle and he made his first on screen appearance on 26 November 2008. Milligan was later asked back every couple of months to do a few weeks filming. After eighteen months of playing Kyle on a part-time basis, Milligan was given a full-time contract deal and he and his character were promoted to the regular cast. Milligan said he was ecstatic about his promotion and looked forward to developing his character further. In August 2011, Milligan had to be written out of Neighbours temporarily so he could recover from an injury he sustained off screen.

Scrublands is an Australian drama series for Stan, released on 16 November 2023, produced by Easy Tiger and based on the novel written by Chris Hammer. The series follows journalist Martin Scarsden, who is following what he believed to be a simple story on the town on the anniversary of a town tragedy, with nothing as it seems, Martin digs deep to reveal the truth behind what happened. A second series of Scrublands was announced in March 2024.
