Luke Pougnalt (born 13 June 1980 in Perth, Western Australia) is an Australian former rower. He was an Australian youth national champion and a medalist at senior World Rowing Championships.
Pougnault attended Trinity College, Perth where he took up rowing.
Pougnault first made state selection for Western Australia in the 1998 youth eight contesting the Noel Wilkinson Trophy at the Australian Rowing Championships. [1] He competed in the West Australian youth eight again in 1999 and 2000, rowing to a victory at the Interstate Regatta in 2000. [2] In 2001 he was selected in the Western Australia senior eight contesting the King's Cup at the Interstate Regatta. [3] He rowed in further West Australian King's Cup eights crew in 2002 and 2003. [4]
Pougnalt made his Australian representative debut in a coxed pair at the World Rowing Cup III in Lucerne where he placed second. Later that year at the 2000 World Rowing U23 Championships in Copenhagen he raced a coxless pair with Josh Keogh to a fourth placing. [5] At the 2001 World Rowing U23 Championships in Linz he again placed fourth, this time in the Australian coxless four. [5]
In 2002 he was in contention for the Australian eight and raced in that boat the World Rowing Cup III in Munich to a second placing. However he didn't secure a seat in the eight at the 2002 World Rowing Championships in Seville where he raced in the coxed four. The four didn't make the final being eliminated in a repechage. [5] In 2003 he rowed in the men's eight and in a coxless pair (with Jonathan Fievez) at the World Rowing Cup III in Lucerne and then at the 2003 World Rowing Championships he and Fievez raced as a coxed pair with Marc Douez up front. They won a silver World Championship medal. [5]

Christian Ryan is an Australian former rower who won a silver medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
Benjamin Cureton is an Australian former lightweight rower. He was an eight-time national champion, a world champion and a three-time Olympian. He won his world championship in the men's lightweight fours, and an Olympic silver medal in that boat class in Athens 2004. He competed at two further Olympics in this discipline. For a twelve year period from 2001 – excepting 2009 and 2010 – Cureton held his seat in all the Australian lightweight coxless fours selected to race at the premier world regattas.
Rebecca Sattin is an Australian rower, a two time World Champion and Olympic medal winner. She had success at the elite world level as both a sculler and a sweep-oared rower.
Dominic Grimm is an Australian national champion rower who in 2010 won a world championship in the coxed pair.
Joshua Hicks is an Australian representative rower. He is an Olympian and a two-time world champion who won gold in the coxless four at the 2017 World Rowing Championships and defended that title at Plovdiv in 2018. He competed in the Australian men's coxless pair at Tokyo 2021.
Jack Hargreaves is an Australian representative rower and a world and an Olympic champion. He won consecutive world championships in the coxless four at the 2017 World Rowing Championships, then successfully defended that title at 2018 Plovdiv. He rowed in the three seat of the Australian men's coxless four to a gold medal victory at the Tokyo Olympics.
Marc Douez is an Australian former national champion and world champion rowing coxswain.
Rosemary Popa is an Australian national champion rower, Olympic gold medalist, and former rower for the University of California, Berkeley. A dual citizen of Australia and the United States, she has represented both countries at World Rowing Championships, twice winning medals for Australia. She won the Remenham Challenge Cup at the 2018 Henley Royal Regatta in the Australian women's eight. In 2021, she was selected to represent Australia in the coxless four event at the delayed 2020 Summer Olympics, where she won the gold medal.

He represented Australia at eight senior and U23 world championships, stroking every crew in which he was selected and winning a silver medal at the 2010 World Rowing Championships.

Bronwyn Cox is an Australian representative, national champion and Olympic rower. She was a silver medallist at the 2019 World Championships and won gold and silver medals at Rowing World Cups in the 2019 international representative season.
