Lusidius

Last updated

Lusidius was a Hispano-Roman man who surrendered Roman-controlled Olisipo (modern Lisbon, Portugal) to the Suebian Kingdom in 469. [1] In the same year, he helped their king, Remismund, begin diplomacy with emperor Anthemius of the Western Roman Empire by being the leader of a large Suebian embassy. [2]
