The LvivMozArt festival is an annual international classical music festival held in Lviv [2] and Brody, and their surroundings, in Ukraine. It is named in honor of Franz Xaver Wolfgang Mozart, [3] son of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, who lived in Lviv from 1808 to 1838. [4]

LvivMozArt combines contemporary academic music and classical pieces performed by musicians from multiple European countries, the United States and South Africa. Its last pre-pandemic edition in 2019 drew 9,500 spectators. [1]

On August 28, the festival hosted the concert "Ark Ukraine: 10 Centuries of Ukrainian Music", which was previously presented on August 22 in Kyiv. [5]

"Prayer for Ukraine" is a patriotic Ukrainian hymn published in 1885, which became a spiritual anthem of Ukraine. The text was written by Oleksandr Konysky, and the music was composed by Mykola Lysenko, first with a children's choir in mind. The song became the regular closing hymn in services of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, the Orthodox Church of Ukraine and other churches. It gained national significance when it was performed by mass choirs during the Ukrainian War of Independence in 1917–1920. The hymn was intended to be an official spiritual anthem of Ukraine. It has closed sessions of oblast councils, and has been performed at major national functions.

Stare Misto Lviv Rock Fest was a music festival which took place in Lviv, Ukraine annually between 2007 and 2013. It was organised by the First Private Brewery, a local brewery. Despite its small scale, it was occasionally referred to as one of the best festivals in Ukraine. It featured both Ukrainian and European bands, such as Kaiser Chiefs, Esthetic Education, Gogol Bordello, IAMX, Archive, Okean Elzy, and The Subways among others.

Kharkiv Music Festival is an annual international Festival of classical music that has been taking place in Kharkiv, Ukraine, since 2018. The festival includes not only a concert programme, but also an educational programme and activities to promote classical music. Festival events take place both in the concert halls of the Kharkiv Philharmonic Society and Kharkiv State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Mykola Lysenko, as well as in unconventional locations such as the subway, shopping malls, art spaces, and open-air venues. Some of the festival events are free of charge and have free admission.

Ukrainian Art Front (UAF) was launched in March 2022 in Lviv to raise funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The project was created and implemented by Serhiy Fedorchuk, Ukrainian musician and organizer of musical events, and Olga Chertkova, owner of the Kyiv-based communication agency Top Media Communication.
