Germany's Next Topmodel is a German reality television series, based on a concept introduced by Tyra Banks with America's Next Top Model. The competition is hosted by Heidi Klum who also serves as the lead judge and executive producer of the show.
The first cycle of Holland's Next Top Model premiered on 4 September 2006 on RTL5. Model Yfke Sturm served as the show's first host, with a panel consisting of Dutch photographer and director Carli Hermès, journalist and editor Karin Swerink, and presenter Rosalie van Breemen. It debuted on PULS4 on 4 May 2009. In 2010 German adaptation of the same title resulted from the Austrian Die Model WG.
Germany's Next Topmodel, Cycle 5 is the fifth season of the show that was aired on the German television network ProSieben. The show started airing on 4 March 2010. In difference to former seasons the show saw a significant change as the audition process was completely open this time whereas every model-wannabe got a chance to audition in front of the jury led by Heidi Klum. The winner was 19-year-old Alisar Ailabouni from Schalchen.

Season 3 of Austria's Next Topmodel aired on Puls 4 from January to March 2011. The judging panel consisted of Lena Gercke, Elvyra Geyer, and Atil Kutoglu. Among the prizes were a cover on Austrian magazine Woman, the face of the newest Hervis campaign as well as two runway jobs at the Milan and Paris Fashion Week.
Germany's Next Topmodel, Cycle 6 is the sixth season of the show that was aired on the German television network ProSieben. The show started airing on 3 March 2011. In difference to the last two years, a preselection was done and open castings were not part of the show. The first episode started with 50 semifinalists, the fewest since Cycle 1. This was also the first season where an elimination outside the judging panel can happen at any point.
Season 4 of Austria's Next Topmodel aired on Puls 4 from January to March 2012.
Austria's Next Topmodel, season 5 was the fifth season of the Austrian reality documentary based on Tyra Banks America's Next Top Model. Having the entire panel of judges replaced, Austrian-born international fashion model Melanie Scheriau became the new host and was joined by runway-model and former Lagerfeld-muse Carmen Kreuzer, who was also the casting director for the season, and Rolf Scheider, who was already a judge during the third and fourth season of Germany's Next Topmodel.
Austria's Next Topmodel – Boys & Girls, the sixth season of Austria's Next Topmodel, aired from September to December 2014. Model Melanie Scheriau returned to present the series for a second season, while panelists Carmen Kreuzer and Rolf Scheider were replaced by male models Papis Loveday and Michael Urban. Two major changes were made to the series' format for the season: as on America's Next Top Model, the series featured both female and male contestants, and a public voting system was implemented. Bianca Schwarzjirg equaled the role of Bryanboy on America's Next Top Model, retrieving and delivering the results of the public vote. Also a mentor to the contestants was season 1 winner Larissa Marolt.
Germany's Next Topmodel, cycle 14 is the fourteenth cycle of Germany's Next Topmodel. It aired on ProSieben in February to May 2019.
Germany's Next Topmodel, cycle 17 is the seventeenth cycle of Germany's Next Topmodel. It aired on ProSieben from February 3, 2022. For the fourth straight year, only the host herself will be appearing in the judges panel, as one or more guest judges will be featured for each episode.
