Lying to the Moon is the debut studio album of American country music singer Matraca Berg. It was released in September 1990 via RCA Records Nashville. The album accounted for the singles "Baby, Walk On", "The Things You Left Undone", "I Got It Bad", and "I Must Have Been Crazy". Berg co-wrote all ten of the tracks.
The album's first two singles, "Baby, Walk On" and "The Things You Left Undone," both peaked at 36 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts. Following these were "I Got It Bad" and "I Must Have Been Crazy" at 43 and 55 respectively. The album itself reached number 43 on Top Country Albums.
"Baby, Walk On" was later recorded as "Walk On" by Linda Ronstadt on her 1995 album Feels Like Home . Trisha Yearwood recorded the title track on her 1993 album The Song Remembers When . Pam Tillis recorded "Calico Plains" for her 1994 CD "Sweethearts Dance"
Mark A. Humphrey of Allmusic gave the album four-and-a-half stars out of five, saying that she "sometimes delivers with brio." [2] Alanna Nash of Entertainment Weekly rated it A-plus, saying that "Berg proves herself to be a songwriter of uncommon maturity" and calling her "unquestionably the first true country femme fatale of the '90s." Strait Out of the Box is the first box set album by American country music artist George Strait. It contains four albums' worth of music, dating from 1976 to 1995. It mainly consists of Strait's singles, except for a select few that he decided to exclude. They were replaced by his choice of album cuts and several studio outtakes. It also contains his three singles recorded in the 1970s for indie label D Records, one of which, "I Just Can't Go on Dying Like This", was re-recorded for Strait's 2013 album Love Is Everything.
Matraca Maria Berg Hanna is an American country music singer and songwriter. She has released five albums: three for RCA Records, one for Rising Tide Records and one for Dualtone Records, and has charted in the top 40 of the U.S. Billboard country charts with "Baby, Walk On" and "The Things You Left Undone," both at No. 36. Besides most of her own material, Berg has written hits for T.G. Sheppard, Karen Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Deana Carter, Patty Loveless, Kenny Chesney and others. In 2008 she was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and in 2018 she received the Poet's Award from the Academy of Country Music Awards.
War Paint is the fourth studio album released by American country music artist Lorrie Morgan. The album was released via BNA Records in 1994. It contains the singles "My Night to Howl," "If You Came Back from Heaven," and "Heart Over Mind." Also included are covers of George Jones' "A Good Year for the Roses", recorded here as a duet with Sammy Kershaw, and Jeannie Seely's "Don't Touch Me." The cassette version of the album omits the track "Exit 99."

Three Chords and the Truth is the debut studio album by American country music artist Sara Evans. The album's title comes from Harlan Howard, a country music songwriter to whom this quote is widely attributed. It also was an improvized lyric in U2's version of the Bob Dylan song "All Along the Watchtower," released on the Rattle and Hum album. The album was released in July 1997 via RCA Records Nashville and it produced three singles: "True Lies", the title track, and "Shame About That". Even though all three singles charted on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, none of them reached the Top 40, making this Evans' only major label album to not produce any Top 40 hits.
Rainbow Man is the debut studio album by American country music artist Jeff Bates. It was released in 2003 on RCA Nashville. The album includes eleven songs, all co-written by Bates, of which three were singles: "The Love Song", the title track, and "I Wanna Make You Cry". Respectively, these peaked at numbers 8, 47, and 23 on the Billboard country charts. "Long, Slow Kisses" was re-recorded for his next album, Leave the Light On, from which it was released as the lead-off single.
Nothin' but the Taillights is the seventh studio album by American country music singer Clint Black. Black co-wrote many of the songs with others and played much of the guitar himself for this album.
Big Time is the second studio album by the American country music artist Trace Adkins. It was released on October 21, 1997, and contains the singles "The Rest of Mine", "Lonely Won't Leave Me Alone" and "Big Time", which respectively reached No. 4, No. 11 and No. 27 on the Hot Country Songs charts. The album was certified Platinum by the RIAA. "Wayfaring Stranger" can be found on the Sparrow Records compilation album Amazing Grace II.
The Song Remembers When is the third studio album by American country music artist Trisha Yearwood. The album was released October 26, 1993 on MCA Nashville Records and was produced by Garth Fundis. It was Yearwood's third collaboration with Fundis, who also produced her 1992 album, Hearts in Armor which received wide critical acclaim, as well as her platinum-selling eponymous debut. The title track was the album's lead single, becoming a major hit, peaking at #2 on the Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart in 1993.
Crazy Nights is the second studio album by country music band Lonestar. Four singles were released from this album: "Come Cryin' to Me", "You Walked In", "Say When", and "Everything's Changed". "Come Cryin' to Me" reached number one on the Hot Country Songs charts. Also included is a cover of country rock band Pure Prairie League's single "Amie".
Freedom is the second studio album by American country music singer Andy Griggs. Real Things is the fifth studio album by American country music artist Joe Nichols, released on August 21, 2007 by Universal South Records. Michael Peterson is the debut studio album by the American country music artist of the same name. Released in 1997 on Reprise Records, it features the singles "Drink, Swear, Steal & Lie", "From Here to Eternity", "Too Good to Be True", "When the Bartender Cries" and "By the Book", all of which charted on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. "From Here to Eternity" was a Number One on that chart in late 1997.
Let Me In is the third studio album by American country music artist Chely Wright. The album was released on September 9, 1997 on MCA Nashville Records and was produced by Tony Brown. Let Me In was Wright's first album to chart on the Billboard Magazine album charts and also spawned her first Top 40 singles. It was also the first of three albums Wright recorded for the MCA Nashville label.

Mindy McCready is the fourth studio album from American country music singer Mindy McCready. It was released on Capitol Nashville in 2002 as her only album for the label. This album peaked at #29 on the US country charts. The album included three singles, "Scream", "Maybe, Maybe Not", and "Lips Like Yours". Steve Mandile, lead singer of the band Sixwire, co-wrote the track "Don't Speak". "The Fire" was originally recorded by Chely Wright on her 1999 album Single White Female.
All in Love is the seventh solo studio album release by American country music singer, Marie Osmond. It was her third album release for Curb/Capitol records and was issued in 1988.
Feels Like Home is a studio album by American singer Linda Ronstadt released in 1995. It reached #75 and lasted 12 weeks on the Billboard album chart. It received excellent critical reviews upon release. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the disc sold precisely 188,815 copies in the United States. This album is now out of print physically, although it is available digitally and five of its tracks were remixed and subsequently included on Trio II.
Breaking New Ground is the debut album of American country music band Wild Rose. Originally issued in 1988 via Universal Records, it was rereleased on April 9, 1990 via Capitol Records. The album includes the singles "Breaking New Ground" and "Go Down Swingin'".
