Li in 2010

Lykke Li is a Swedish singer, songwriter, actress and model. She has appeared in music videos, films and commercials. Li made her acting debut in the 2014 Swedish crime film Tommy, directed by longtime collaborator Tarik Saleh. In 2017, Li starred in Terrence Malick's Song to Song where she played one of Ryan Gosling's love interests. Her song "Gunshot" was used in the television commercial for the Peugeot 108, which stars Li. She also starred in a short film for Gucci's Spring/Summer 2015 collection, which featured her song "Just Like a Dream".

She is best known for her biggest hit single to date, "I Follow Rivers".

Tarik Saleh is a Swedish television producer, animator, publisher, journalist and film director. He was born in Högalids församling, Stockholm to a Swedish mother and an Egyptian father. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, he was one of Sweden's most prominent graffiti artists, including co-creating Fascinate. He has also worked as a TV host for Sveriges Television and is one of the founders of production company Atmo.

He started his international music career as one half of the electro pop duo Bloodshy & Avant with Pontus Winnberg, producing and co-writing tracks for pop stars such as Madonna, BoA, Kylie Minogue, and Katy Perry. Bloodshy & Avant notably co-wrote and produced Britney Spears' single "Toxic", which earned them a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording in 2005. While continuing to work with Bloodshy and Avant, Karlsson also became a member of the indie pop band Miike Snow around 2007. Ingrid is a Swedish artist collective and record label founded in 2012. They released their first compilation on Record Store Day in 2012. The collective's musical work is notable for containing multiple side-projects by its members that do not adhere to the line-ups of their primary ventures; for example, Björn Yttling has a track entitled "Cuban Lips" under the stage name Yttling Jazz on the Ingrid Volym 1 compilation; however, he is also featured as a member of the band Smile along with Teddybears member Joakim Åhlund. All of the bands featured on the compilation are of this nature or are solo works. The record label has been managed by Niklas Hallberg since March 2013.

Lykke Li is a Swedish singer and songwriter. Her discography consists of five studio albums, four extended plays (EPs), twenty-four singles, and twenty-two music videos. Eager to pursue a music career, Li began working with producer Björn Yttling of Swedish indie rock band Peter Bjorn and John when she was 19. The sessions resulted in her debut EP Little Bit, which she released on her own label LL Recordings in 2007. The release garnered attention from indie pop and mainstream publications in Sweden, while its title track peaked at number 20 on the Sverigetopplistan singles chart. Li soon released her debut studio album, Youth Novels (2008), which peaked at number three on the Swedish albums chart and spawned three more singles, including her second chart entry "I'm Good, I'm Gone". She then signed with Atlantic Records to distribute her releases worldwide. Youth Novels received widespread critical praise, but sales were poor.

Produced by Lynch, "I'm Waiting Here" features vocals by the Swedish singer-songwriter Lykke Li, who co-wrote the song with Lynch collaborator Dean Hurley. Critical response to the song was largely positive and a music video was released.

Närsholmen is a peninsula and a nature reserve on the southeast coast of Gotland, Sweden, adjacent the village of När. The landscape is savanna-like and has a rich birdlife, about 45 species has been spotted, and a number of orchids. In the late part of summer, the peninsula is covered with Echium vulgare. The reserve was established in 1986. It was also designated as a Natura 2000 area.

<i>Tommy</i> (2014 film) 2014 Swedish film

Tommy is a 2014 Swedish crime thriller film directed by Tarik Saleh. The film premiered as the closing film of the Gothenburg Film Festival on February 1, 2014, and was later released in Sweden on March 14, 2014. It stars Moa Gammel, Ola Rapace, and Swedish singer Lykke Li in her acting debut. Li also contributed to the film's soundtrack with the song "Du är den ende".
