Lysanne Richard (born 30 August 1981) [1] is a Canadian high diver and acrobat. She represented Canada at the 2015 World Aquatics Championships in Kazan, Russia and she finished in 5th place in the women's high diving event. [2] She was not able to represent Canada at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships as she had to withdraw from the competition after sustaining a neck injury. [3]
In 2016, she won the FINA Athlete of the Year award in her category (women's high diving). [3]
In 2018, she won the bronze medal in the 2018 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series. [1] She also won the bronze medal in the 2019 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series.
She was one of the housemates in the second season of Big Brother Célébrités , the Quebec celebrity version of the international reality show Big Brother.
Prior to discovering high diving, she has a career as a trained acrobat and aristic trampolinist with the Cirque du Soleil. [4]
Alexandre Despatie OLY is a Canadian diver and broadcaster from Laval, Quebec. He was the world champion at the 1 and 3 m springboards from 2005 to 2007 and is the first, and so far only, diver to have been world champion in all three individual categories. He is also a 37-time Canadian senior diving champion and nine-time junior champion, and the most decorated male diver in Canadian history, winning two Olympic silver medals and reaching eight podiums at the world championships, including three gold medals. He was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Meaghan Benfeito is a Canadian diver. She used to compete in the 10m synchronized event with Roseline Filion before the latter retired in January 2017. Benfeito and Filion won bronze medals in the 10 m platform synchro event at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics, and in the latter event Benfeito also won a bronze medal in the 10 m platform individual event.
Gary Hunt, also known as Roger Gary Hunt, is an elite sports diver, specialising in cliff or high diving, and is the 2019 World champion in high diving at World Aquatics Championships event, where he holds the championship record. With a silver in the 2013 edition of the event, Hunt is the most successful male diver in the short history of the FINA recognised event.
Jennifer Abel is a Canadian former diver. She is currently partnered with Mélissa Citrini-Beaulieu for synchronized diving. She won an Olympic bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the 3 m synchro diving event with Émilie Heymans and a silver medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the same event with Melissa Citrini-Beaulieu. Abel is a four-time Commonwealth Games champion in the 1 m and 3 m synchronized springboard; and is also a three-time Pan American Games champion in the 3 m springboard and 3 m synchronized springboard. Her ten medals at the FINA World Championships are a record for most medals by a Canadian in diving at the world championships.
Pamela Ware is a Canadian diver. She is currently partnered with Jennifer Abel for synchronized diving. Ware has two bronze medals from the 2013 World Aquatics Championships where she won in the synchronized 3 m event with Abel as well as individual bronze in the 3 m. She is also the silver medallist in the 3 m springboard at the 2015 Pan American Games, finishing second to Abel.
Anna Bader is a German high diver. She competed in the 2013 World Aquatics Championships in Barcelona, Spain the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series in 2013, 2014 and 2015, and the 2015 World Aquatics Championships in Kazan, Russia.
Jonathan Paredes Bernal is a Mexican high diver who won the bronze medal at the 2013 World Aquatics Championships in Barcelona at the high diving event behind Orlando Duque and Gary Hunt.
Sydney Pickrem is a Canadian competitive swimmer. A two-time Olympian, she won a bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics as part of the Canadian 4×100 metre medley relay team, and is a seven-time World Aquatics Championships medallist.
Yana Nestsiarava is a Belarusian female high diver. She won the bronze medal at the 2015 World Aquatics Championships in the women's high diving. Two years later at the 2017 Championships she achieved the same result, taking bronze in the women's high diving event.
Grace Elizabeth Reid is a Scottish diver representing Scotland and Great Britain, and specialising in 1 metre and 3 metre springboard disciplines. She is a world championship silver medallist in the 1 metre springboard, twice a world medallist in the 3 metre mixed synchronised 3 metre springboard discipline, a double gold medallist at both the European Championships and the Commonwealth Games as well as a multiple minor medallist in both those events, the European Games and the FINA Diving World Cup. Domestically, Reid is a three-time national champion.

Jessica Macaulay is a British and Canadian high diver. She placed second in the women's competition at two Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series and has won two bronze medals in high diving at the World Aquatics Championships.
Aidan Heslop is a British diver and high diver who competes internationally representing Wales and Great Britain. In 2024 he won gold in the men's high dive at the 2024 World Aquatics Championships.

He was the first man to win a silver medal in a high diving event at a LEN European Aquatics Championships, winning the silver medal in the 27-metre high dive at the 2022 European Aquatics Championships. Helena Merten is an Australian high diver and acrobatic performer. She placed second at the 2017 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series and won a silver medal in women's 20m at the FINA High Diving World Cup 2016.
