M. C. Balan was an Indian politician and former Member of the Legislative Assembly. He was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly as a Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate from Nagercoil constituency in Kanyakumari district in 1967 election. [1] He was defeated by A. Chidambaranatha Nadar in 1962 election in Nagercoil legislative assembly constituency. [2] He was defeated by K. Kamaraj in Nagercoil parliamentary constituency in 1971 Indian general election. [3]
