M. R. Reghuchandrabal (born 12 March 1950) is an Indian politician belonging to Indian National Congress. He represented Kovalam and Parassala in the sixth and ninth Kerala Legislative Assembly respectively. [1] He served as the minister of excise from 2 July 1991 to 16 March 1995 in the Fourth Karunakaran ministry. He has also served as the president of Kanjiramkulam Panchayat. [2]

S.'was an Indian communist politician and theorist,who served as the first Chief Minister of Kerala in 1957–1959 and then again in 1967–1969. As a member of the Communist Party of India (CPI),he became the first non-Congress Chief Minister in the Indian republic. In 1964,he led a faction of the CPI that broke away to form the Communist Party of India (Marxist).
Arackaparambil Kurien Antony is an Indian politician and lawyer who served as the Minister of Defence of India from 2006 to 2014. Cheriyan Kandi Muhammad Koya was an Indian politician who served as the 8th Chief Minister of Kerala from October to December 1979. He is more often noted for being the Minister of Education of Kerala from 1967 to 1973 and again from 1977 to 1979. After his Chief Ministership,Koya went on to become the 2nd Deputy Chief Minister of Kerala from 1981 until his death in 1983. The Government of India awarded him the third highest civilian honour of the Padma Bhushan,in 2008,for his contributions to Indian civil service.
Narayana Balakrishnan Nair (1927–2010) was a marine biologist,ecologist and the founder president of Kerala Science Congress. He was known for his advocacy of trawling ban during monsoon seasons which was later accepted and imposed by the Government of Kerala. A Jawaharlal Nehru fellow,Nair was an elected fellow of all the major Indian science academies as well as the Zoological Society of London. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research,the apex agency of the Government of India for scientific research,awarded him the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology,one of the highest Indian science awards,in 1971,for his contributions to biological sciences. He received the fourth highest Indian civilian honor of the Padma Shri in 1984.
