M. Sivakumar is an Indian politician and a former Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Tamil Nadu. He hails from the Sholurmattam (Achington) area in the Kotagiri taluk of the Nilgiris district.
Sivakumar completed his education up to the 8th grade. As a member of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) party,he contested the 1984 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections from the Coonoor Assembly constituency and was elected as a Member of the Legislative Assembly. [1]
