M2: Descending into Madness is the second and final solo album by ex-Crimson Glory frontman Midnight, released posthumously five years after his death in 2009. [1] This album was originally released in limited edition back in 2006 and still being worked on for an open edition one year later. [2] [3]

Crimson Glory

Crimson Glory were an American heavy metal band that formed in 1979 in Sarasota, Florida, under the monikers 'Pierced Arrow', then 'Beowulf' before settling on Crimson Glory. The classic line-up consisted of vocalist Midnight, guitarists Jon Drenning and Ben Jackson, bassist Jeff Lords, and drummer Dana Burnell. With that line-up, they rose to international fame in the mid-1980s and were considered one of the pioneers of the American progressive metal movement, along with Queensrÿche, Dream Theater, Fates Warning and Watchtower. During their career, they released four studio albums and one EP.

Live to Win is the second solo studio album from Kiss vocalist, guitarist and co-founder Paul Stanley, released on October 24, 2006. The album's title track was featured in the South Park episode "Make Love, Not Warcraft", twenty days prior to the album's release. Stanley last released a solo album in 1978, Paul Stanley, which was officially released as a Kiss album. Comparing the two albums, Stanley said "It's not 1978 anymore... It's certainly the same mentality, and certainly I'm a better singer today. My perspective and where I'm at in my life at this point, and what I've experienced and seen, brings something else to the table that wasn't there then. After a long hiatus following their less-than-successful album Strange and Beautiful, the band reformed with Wade Black on vocals and Steve Wacholz on drums. Although he is pictured in the album artwork, Wacholz never actually played on the record – a drum machine was used. Alberto Rigoni is an Italian bass player and composer, internationally known for his career as a solo artist and as a member of the metal band BAD As, The Italians, Lady & THE BASS, co-producer of the Vivaldi Metal Project, and member of progressive rock band TwinSpirits. His latest album, Odd Times features drummer Marco Minnemann, and Guitarist/Keyboardist Alexandra Zerner. Bad As released their third album, "Crucified Society" in March 2020.
