The Memphis Championship Wrestling (MCW) Hardcore Title first champion was Bitty Little, because Little forced MCW Commissioner Al Kee Holic to award him the championship, even though a tournament had been scheduled to determine the first champion. [1] Joey Abs gave the belt to MCW Commissioner Shooter Schultz after winning it, and Schultz abandoned the title on June 1, 2001. [1] Schultz claimed to hate hardcore wrestling, and he vowed to throw the belt into the Mississippi River. [2]

The Mean Street Posse Originally and initially known as and later as Greenwich Posse was a professional wrestling stable in the World Wrestling Federation. The group consisted of Pete Gas, Rodney, and Joey Abs, The Posse's gimmick was that they were friends of Shane McMahon in (real life from the "mean streets" of Greenwich, Connecticut, and were from a similarly upper class background. The Dupps were a professional wrestling tag team in southern independents and ECW during the late 1990s composed of four wrestlers and one valet. Each of their names is a play on different phrases: "Bowed up", "Jacked up", "Pucked up", "Stand up", and "Fluffed up". They feuded with Amish Roadkill & Danny Doring over who should have a shot at the ECW Tag-Team Titles. The rivalry culminated when The Dupps signed a World Wrestling Federation developmental deal, resulting in a 'Loser Leaves Town' match on the February 25, 2000 episode of ECW on TNN, that the Dupps lost.

The Haas Brothers was a Professional wrestling Tag team consisting of real life brothers Charlie and Russ Haas. The team was very successful in the independent wrestling circuit, but Russ's death on December 15, 2001 led to the end of the tag team shortly after the brothers signed a contract with the World Wrestling Federation.

Extreme Rising Professional wrestling promotion from 2012 to 2014

Extreme Rising was an American independent professional wrestling promotion founded in 2012. Meant to fill the void of hardcore wrestling left behind by the defunct Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), Extreme Rising assembled a roster of ECW alumni, but later expanded to include younger talent. The promotion closed after cancelling all future shows on April 22, 2014.

Romeo Valentino is a retired American professional wrestler and promoter. He competed in a number of independent promotions in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States during the 1990s and early 2000s including American Commonwealth Wrestling, CyberSpace Wrestling Federation, The Bad Crew's Eastern Wrestling Federation, Music City Wrestling, National Championship Wrestling, NWA New Jersey, Ozark Mountain Wrestling, and the World Wrestling Alliance. He also had a brief stint as a preliminary wrestler in World Championship Wrestling.
