Ushkyn-Iskra Astana Sport Club PC NSC RK is a futsal club based in Astana. The club was founded in 1999 and its pavilion is the Alatau Sportcomplex.
The club was founded in 1999 under the name of "Iskra". The victory in the first league of Kazakhstan became the first success. In a season of 1999/00, debuted in the championship of Kazakhstan and took the seventh place. The bronze medal of the Cup of Kazakhstan in 2009 was won.

FC Zhenis is a Kazakhstani football club based at the K.Munaitpasov Stadium in Astana. Founding members of the Kazakhstan Premier League, they were relegated to First Division for the first time in 2009 after being declared bankrupt. The club has won the national championship on three occasions.

In 2021 Kairat became the first ever Kazakhstani club to compete in the group stage of inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League.
Caspiy Football Club is a Kazakhstani football club based at the Zhastar Stadium in Aktau. The club name derived from Caspian Sea. Their best year was 1996, when they finished 4th in the Premier League and reached the semi-finals of the Kazakhstan Cup. Since 2001, they were stuck in the First Division, until gaining direct promotion to the top division in the 2019 season.

Hockey Club Barys, also referred to as Barys Astana or HC Barys, is a professional ice hockey team based in Astana, Kazakhstan.
