The film is jointly produced by Venkatesh Reddy and Venki Palugulla under the banner of Triveni 24 Crafts. Krishna Sarathi is behind the camera while Vikram Subramanya has scored and composed music.

MLA is a satirical comedy drama showcasing the present political scenario. As the abbreviation (Mother Promise Lekkasigada Aasami) tells the protagonist is a happy go lucky guy until just before the interval block, he gets a chance to become MLA. Now his life completely changes & the legislature drama unfolds with a humor touch.
MLC turned actor HM Revanna plays the Chief Minister role in the film. [3] Speaking to media, the former minister quoted
”I loved playing the role of Chief Minister for few minutes, and it felt good that I will be on silver screen. The director and producer have good experience in the industry, and with Pratham playing the lead role, MLA will attract large audience."

Satyam (transl. Truth) is an Indian 2008 Tamil-language action drama film written and directed by debutante A. Rajasekhar in his directorial debut. The film stars Vishal in the role of a cop for the first time. Nayanthara plays the female lead role, while popular Kannada actor Upendra plays the parallel leading role as Vishal's mentor, making his Tamil debut. V. Harikrishna is an Indian film score and soundtrack composer, playback singer and film producer. He has mainly scored music for Kannada films. After his stint as a programmer and assistant musician, Harikrishna made his debut as an independent composer in actor Darshan's first production venture Jothe Jotheyali in 2006. Since then, he has been scoring for majority of Darshan's films besides working for many other leading production houses. He owns an audio company called "D-Beats" established in 2013 and produces music under his own company starting from the film Bulbul (2013).
