Sambreville is a municipality and since March 12, 2024 a Belgian city of Wallonia located in the province of Namur, Belgium.

The only countries with the same number or more appearances are Germany (66), France (65) and the United Kingdom (65). Belgium have been absent only three times in total, in 1994, 1997 and 2001, due to low scores in the previous contests that relegated them from the contest. Belgium has won the contest once, in 1986.
The Boerentoren is a historic high-rise building in Antwerp, Belgium. Constructed between 1929 and 1932 and originally 87.5 m (287 ft) high, it remained the tallest building and the second-tallest structure in the city until 2019, when the Antwerp Tower surpassed it with a height of 100.7 m (330 ft). At the time of construction, it was the second tallest building in Europe by roof height.

The competition featured seven competing acts and consisted of five songclub shows and a final. In the final on 14 January 2023, "Because of You" performed by Gustaph was selected as the winner via the votes of a fifteen-member jury panel and a public vote.

It can be regarded as an artificial nature domain with a recreational-educational function. The park covers an area of approximately 15 hectares. The city park is located south of the city center. It is bordered by the Parklaan, Désiré De Wolfstraat and Erembodegemstraat.

The Cartoon Festival of Knokke-Heist is an annual, international festival in the Belgian municipality Knokke-Heist where visitors can see cartoons from all over the world. Various prizes are also awarded during the festival, the most important of which is the Golden Hat. Furthermore, the Silver Hat and the Bronze Hat will also be awarded. It is the oldest Cartoonfestival in the world, as the first edition was in 1962. Yearly a book of 100 selected cartoons is also published.
