MOSH Mobile was an American mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Founded in 2006, the service operated on the GSM network provided by Centennial Wireless. MOSH Mobile offered free mobile service to users in exchange for receiving mobile advertising content and interacting with sponsored campaigns targeted toward younger users (ages 18–24). [1] [2]

The company’s business model was similar to other ad-supported mobile ventures of the mid-2000s, including Amp'd Mobile, though MOSH Mobile targeted a narrower youth demographic. [3]

MOSH Mobile did not provide international calling services and was invite-only during its active years. By late 2012, the company ceased operations, and its official website began redirecting to AT&T’s homepage. [4]
