MRU Super Cup is the top cup competitions of rugby union in Malaysia.
Introduced in 2004, the MRU Super Cup is contested only to the top four rugby union clubs in the MRU Super League. The Malaysian Rugby Union (MRU) is handling the cup competition.

The Rugby Football League (RFL) is the governing body for rugby league in England. Founded in 1895 as the Northern Rugby Football Union following 22 clubs resigning from the Rugby Football Union, it changed its name in 1922 to the Rugby Football League.
The New South Wales Suburban Rugby Union, or NSWSRU, is affiliated to the New South Wales Rugby Union and runs the competition affectionately known as "Subbies" rugby. There are around 7,500 players and 55 clubs competing across 6 divisions, making "Subbies" the largest centrally administered rugby competition in the world. NSWSRU is truly the grassroots of rugby in Sydney.

The Petaling Jaya Stadium, also known as the MBPJ Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in the suburb of Kelana Jaya in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. The stadium was opened in 1996 and has a capacity of 25,000. It was built in time for the 1998 Commonwealth Games and hosted the Games' rugby union matches.
The Singapore national rugby union team has yet to make its debut at the Rugby World Cup, though since the 1995 Rugby World Cup, Singapore have been participating in qualification competitions.

NS Wanderers RC, formed in 1984, is a professional Malaysian rugby union club that plays in the city of Seremban in the state of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. It currently competes in the MRU Super League, the top level of the Malaysian rugby union league system.

The MRU Super League 2015 was the 11th season of MRU Super League, Malaysia's domestic rugby union competition. It kicked off on 17 February 2015. The final was held on 21 March 2015 and won by Keris Conlay, 18 - 11 over COBRA.

The final was held on 3 April 2016 and won by UPM Angels, 16 - 13 over defending champions, Keris Conlay. It was the first title that were achieved by the Angels in their history.
The 2016 Asia Rugby Championship division tournaments refers to the divisions played within the annual international rugby union tournament for the Asian region. The Asia Rugby Championship (ARC) replaced the Asian Five Nations tournament in 2015. The main tournament is now contested by the top three teams in Asia. The other national teams in Asia compete in three divisions.
