Macharce [maˈxart͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Płaska, within Augustów County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Belarus. [1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) north of Płaska, 22 km (14 mi) north-east of Augustów, and 95 km (59 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok.
