MadameNoire is an international online magazine that is geared toward the lifestyles of African-American women as well as popular culture.

In 2015, MadameNoire had 7,116,000 unique visitors monthly, making it the most trafficked site oriented to African Americans—ahead of The Root, BET.com, and Bossip.com. [1]

The site also has a radio partnership with Café Mocha. [2]

Staff includes Brande Victorian, deputy editor, [2] Courtney Whitaker, weekend editor; [3] and LaShaun Williams, culture and parenting columnist. [4]

MadameNoire was owned by Moguldom Media Group at the time of its 2010 launch. [5] In 2012, Moguldom folded the Atlanta Post (which published from 2008 to 2012) into MadameNoire. [6]

In 2017, iOne Digital, a division of Urban One, Inc., acquired MadameNoire, along with Bossip.com and Hip-Hop Wired. The acquisition helped iOne Digital become one of the largest black digital content providers in the U.S. [7]

Margo Elaine Simms, known professionally as Margeaux, is a Canadian singer, songwriter, fashion designer and television personality. She appeared on the VH1 reality television series Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. Born in Toronto, Canada, she first pursued her music career in 2004. While attending Ryerson University, where she studied fashion design, Margeaux first started singing mostly on hip hop tracks. In 2005, she moved to New York City to become a fashion designer, but soon decided to start a career as a professional musician. She formed the group Test Drive with Nikko London and together they worked with producers such as Timbaland, Danja and The Runners along with DJ Khaled.

Oluremi Fela Faust, known professionally as Mimi Faust, is an American reality television personality who stars on the VH1 program Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. She first appeared as the long-time girlfriend of producer Stevie J.

The Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame is located in Atlanta, Georgia, and was inaugurated in January 2021. The goal of the monument is to honor African Americans, and Black people internationally, for their achievements in entertainment. The Walk of Fame is located in the historic Downtown Atlanta area, on the sidewalks of Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive and Northside Drive.
