René Henriksen is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a defender for Danish club Akademisk Boldklub and Panathinaikos in Greece. Henriksen was capped 66 times for the Danish national team, and he represented his country at two FIFA World Cups and two European Championship tournaments. He is currently a scout for Panathinaikos.

He played 20 matches for the Danish national team, and represented Denmark at the 1992 Summer Olympics and 1996 European Championship.
Boldklubben Frem is a Danish sports club based in the Valby-Sydhavnen area of Copenhagen. It is best known for its semi-professional football team. Since its foundation in 1886, Frem has won the Danish Championships six times and the Danish Cup twice. Until the disastrous bankruptcy in 1993, Frem had played in the top division all but six seasons. After the bankruptcy the club fought its way back to the top of Danish football, but in 2010 it went bankrupt again and was demoted to the Copenhagen Series—the fifth tier in the Danish league system. After two back to back promotions, the club now participates in the Danish 2. Division, the third tier.
The MCH Arena is an association football stadium situated in the south of Herning, Denmark, that is part of MCH Messecenter Herning complex and owned by MCH Group A/S. It has been the home ground of FC Midtjylland since March 2004. An integrated part of the arena is a main building housing the club's administration and offices for the official fan club, and includes player and referee facilities, a restaurant, a VIP lounge, press and sky boxes, and a club shop. The total capacity during domestic matches is 11,432 spectators with 7,070 seatings making it the 9th largest football stadium in Denmark. At international FIFA and UEFA matches, the capacity of the four covered single-tiered stands is reduced to 9,430, when the terraces at the north and south stands are converted to an all-seater mode. The stadium's current attendance record of 11,763 spectators dates back to a 2007–08 Danish Superliga match on 11 November 2007, when FC Midtjylland drew 2–2 against FC Copenhagen.
Boldklubben Fremad Amager is a Danish professional football club based in the district of Amager Vest, Copenhagen. As of the 2020–21 season, the club's senior men's team play in 1st Division, the second-tier of professional football in the country. The club consists of an amateur department and a professional section, that is wholly owned by Fremad Amager Elite ApS – a private limited company created on 2 December 2013, initially with 80/20% ownership split between the new investors and the remaining 20% by the members – and small portion by the club's amateur department. The club have primarily played their home games at Sundby Idrætspark since the stadium's inauguration in 1922. Fremad Amager's last spell in the highest football league in Denmark was in the autumn of 1994. Ever since the first participation in the first nationwide league tournament in 1927, and subsequent promotion in 1929, the club has spent the majority of its history – with the exception of two seasons – in the different divisional structures. The club reached the Danish Cup final in 1971–72 season while playing at the second highest league level, but lost against Vejle BK, who had also won the Danish championship in 1971. As a result, BK Fremad Amager participated in the 1972–73 European Cup Winners' Cup, but did not advance beyond the first round.
X Factor is the Danish version of The X Factor, a show originating in the United Kingdom and is created by talent show judge and record and TV producer Simon Cowell. The show premiered on 4 January 2008. For the first eleven seasons, the show was broadcast on DR1 before moving to TV 2 from the twelfth season onwards. Allan Hjortdal Kuhn, known simply as Allan Kuhn, is a Danish association football coach and former player. He most recently was the manager of Danish Superliga club Hobro IK. Before that he was head coach of Swedish club Malmö FF in 2016, where he won the domestic league during his sole season. He was the head coach of FC Midtjylland from 2009 to 2011. He is also a former assistant coach and caretaker head coach of Aalborg BK, and was the assistant of head coach Erik Hamrén in the 2008 Superliga-winning season, as well as assistant of Kent Nielsen in the 2014 Superliga-winning season.
Submarino is a 2010 Danish drama film directed by Thomas Vinterberg, starring Jakob Cedergren and Peter Plaugborg. It is based on the 2007 novel Submarino by Jonas T. Bengtsson, and focuses on two brothers on the bottom of Danish society, with lives marked by violence and drug addiction. The film was produced by Nimbus Film. As a condition from the financier TV 2, half of the cast and crew were novices, which the director enjoyed as it gave an experience similar to his earliest films.

Peter Langkjær Madsen is a Danish convicted murderer, former engineer and entrepreneur. In April 2018, he was convicted of the 2017 murder of Swedish journalist Kim Wall on board his submarine, UC3 Nautilus, and sentenced to life imprisonment.

The 1963–64 Danish Cup was the 10th installment of the Danish Cup, the national association football cup competition in Denmark. This year's edition began with the regional qualifying rounds among the lower ranking members of the six regional governing bodies in early May 1963, and concluded with the grand cup final on 7 May 1964. A total of 707 clubs participated in the cup tournament – the highest number of teams since the cup's foundation. 671 teams were registered for the qualifying rounds, of which only 44 teams would quality for the proper rounds, under the auspices of the Danish FA's tournament committee, joined by 36 additional teams from the first, second and third divisions in the Danish football league system.
The 1964 Danish Cup Final was a men's association football match between Esbjerg fB and Odense KFUM played at Københavns Idrætspark on 7 May 1964. It was the final match to determine the winner of the 1963–64 Danish Cup, the 10th season of the Danish national-wide annual football knockout competition, the Danish Cup, open to all DBU member clubs. This was the first time that two sides had ever met in a domestic cup competition and only the third time in a competitive league game. For Odense KFUM, the match represented their first opportunity to win a title on a national level, having never reached the quarterfinals in previous seasons in the cup's current incarnation, while Esbjerg fB were participating in their third cup final, having lost on both previous occasions. This was the third consecutive year the tournament's final featured a team from Odense.

Tarup-Paarup Idrætsforening, commonly known as Tarup-Paarup IF or TPI, is an association football club based in Odense, Denmark, that competes in the Denmark Series, the fourth tier of the Danish football league system. Founded in 1962 after the football departments of Tarup Idrætsforening and Paarup Gymnastikforening merged, it is affiliated to the regional DBU Funen football association. The team plays its home matches at home Tarup Park.
