Madeleine Minou Martin (born 20 August 1991, in Gothenburg) is a Swedish actress.

Biography

In fall 2009, Martin starred as Cleo in Sveriges Television's Web series Riverside . [1] Since then, she has starred in the short film The Art of Breaking Up, and in the film Studio Sex , which is one of the many films about the character Annika Bengtzon, in which she portrayed the bartender Patricia. [2] Martin has a role in the film Easy Money II: Hard to Kill (2012), in which she portrayed the character Nadja. [3] She reprised the role in the sequel Easy Money III: Life Deluxe (2013). In 2014, she portrayed the character Fatima in Sveriges Television's Christmas calendar Piratskattens hemlighet . In 2024, she played the title role in the crime drama, Jana: Marked for Life .

Madeleine Martin is sister to actor and director Philip Martin.

Easy Money is a Swedish crime thriller film directed by Daniel Espinosa that was released on 15 January 2010. It is based on the 2006 novel of the same name by Jens Lapidus. Joel Kinnaman stars in the lead role of Johan "JW" Westlund, a rather poor man living a double life in the upper class areas of Stockholm. After meeting a wealthy girl, he is enticed into the world of organized crime and begins to sell cocaine to afford his expensive lifestyle. Easy Money was well received by critics and was a hit at the box office.

Jana: Marked for Life is a Swedish television crime drama and thriller developed by Viaplay. It appeared on Viaplay's Australian partners SBS On Demand from 6 March 2024. It was initially scheduled for streaming in Europe by Viaplay in late 2023 but was cancelled owing to the company's downsizing. Its European debut was postponed to 19 April 2024 after Prime Video Nordics picked up the series.
