Madeline Follin (Born 7 November, 1989) is an American singer. She is the singer in the American duo Cults.

Early life and career

Follin was born and raised in San Diego, California. Her mom was a musician and her stepdad Paul Kostabi is a singer and co-founder of the band White Zombie. When Follin was nine years old, she recorded vocals with the punk band Youth Gone Mad and covered the song Amoeba by The Adolescents. [1]

Follin later moved to New York City, which she met Brian Oblivion. They formed a duo called Cults in 2010. They announced their breakup in 2013 [2]
