Madmans Esprit is a South Korean black metal band, influenced by visual kei [1] [2] and solo project of vocalist Kyuho, formed in 2010 in Seoul. Kyuho identifies their style as "Depressive Suicidal Blackened Pop". [3]

Career

Kyuho formed Madmans Esprit in 2010 in Seoul and moved to Berlin a few years later and recorded the albums Nacht, distributed by Gan Shin Records and released in October 2018 and 무의식 의 의식화 (Conscientization of Unconsciousness). They also toured Europe in 2017. [4] However, Kyuho had to return to his hometown because of military service. [5] Kyuho said he has always been influenced by Japanese visual kei. [3] Some of the project's influences are Dir En Grey, Opeth, Radiohead and X Japan. [6]

Kyuho is also guitarist of the band "ms. Isohp romatem", established by Juho. In addition, he is fluent in the Korean, Japanese, English and German languages. [8]

Diary of a Madman is the second studio album by English heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne. It was released in October 1981, and re-issued on CD on 22 August 1995. This is the last Osbourne studio album to feature guitarist Randy Rhoads and drummer Lee Kerslake. An altered version appeared in 2002 with the original bass and drum parts removed and re-recorded. In 2011, a Deluxe 30th Anniversary Edition was released with all original parts restored. To date, the album has sold over 3 million copies worldwide.

Galneryus is a Japanese power metal band, formed in Osaka in 2001 by guitarist Syu and vocalist Yama-B. Originally the only official members, the two utilized several support musicians until bassist Tsui, keyboardist Yuhki, and drummer Jun-ichi officially joined for the release of their debut album in 2003. Yama-B left the group in 2008 citing musical differences, and Yu-To, who replaced Tsui in 2006, left the following year. Galneryus recruited Sho on vocals and Taka on bass, and released the album Resurrection in 2010. Jun-ichi left in 2016, and the following year the band released their highest-charting studio album, Ultimate Sacrifice, which reached number 13. Antic Café was a Japanese pop rock band formed in 2003 and signed to Sony Music Japan. Their visual image is oshare kei, and they describe their music as "Harajuku Dance Rock". The group has released six full-length albums, two compilation albums, and four EPs. On September 1, 2009, the band announced that after their live show on January 4, 2010 at the Nippon Budokan, they would suspend activities and put the group on hiatus, however they stated they will not disband. In 2012, after a two-year break, the team announced the resumption of activities. In June 2018, the band announced the departure of all members but Miku and a hiatus beginning in January 2019.

Genkaku Allergy was a Japanese visual kei rock band formed in 1992 by ex-Kamaitachi members Sceana and Kazzy. Its sound mixes elements from hardcore punk, heavy metal, noise and industrial music. They signed with Victor Entertainment in 1994. Genkaku Allergy disbanded in 1997, but in 2006 vocalist Sceana regrouped the band for one last show. In 2020, he resurrected the band as simply Genkaku (幻覚).

Defspiral is a Japanese visual kei alternative metal band composed of most of the former members of the Underneath. When the Underneath disbanded in 2010, most of the group was signed to Avex Mode to perform songs for the Kamen Rider Series. This occurred with a change to their style to a smoother, slicker and more seductive style than their previous incarnations.

Eastern Sidekick was a South Korean indie rock band formed in 2010, but they officially debuted under Fluxus Music includes Clazziquai, Urban Zakapa in 2013. The band consisted of Juhwan Oh on vocals, Hangyul Ko on lead guitar and main songwriter, Sanghwan bae on bass guitar, Inhyuk Ryu on guitars and Geunchang Park on drums.

Nocturnal Bloodlust, sometimes abbreviated as NOKUBURA (ノクブラ), is a Japanese metalcore/deathcore band formed in Tokyo in 2009. They started to incorporate visual kei aesthetics into their appearance in 2012.

Jiluka is a Japanese visual kei metal band initially formed in May 2013 but restarted in February 2015. The group are an independent band on the label DPR Japan, consisting of members Ricko, Sena, the main songwriter of the songs, Boogie and Zyean. They have released 7 albums and 6 singles so far. It was ranked at the 12 position on the JRock News's top 15 visual kei and Japanese rock artists of 2019. Jiluka is described as "Modern metal visual kei".

Dezert is a Japanese visual kei rock band formed in 2011. Their current line-up features Chiaki on vocals, Sacchan on bass, Miyako on guitar and Sora on drums and they have released 7 studio albums to date.
