Andrew Major (born 1976), known professionally as Maggot, is a Welsh rapper.
Several Goldie Lookin Chain songs have been written about him. These include "The Maggot" ( Greatest Hits ); based on the tune of "You've Got to Pick a Pocket or Two" from the musical Oliver! and "Maneater" by Hall & Oates together with a Steeleye Span hook. "The Maggot" also namechecks Fagin, Dick Turpin, Penelope Keith and Kylie Minogue and features fellow GLC member Mystikal.
Another song, "Maggot at Midnight" (from Safe as Fuck ), namechecks Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Nosferatu, The Crystal Maze , Michael Jackson and Jackson's song "Thriller", and features a sample from the television show 'Danger Mouse'. Another short track he features on is called "Maggot's Stand-Up" where Maggot does a short stand-up comic style set; it mostly features scatological references. Maggot also identifies himself as The Hip Hop Vampire, which is one of his aliases. He's also the subject of the GLC song "Six Feet Tall" which features the Commodores' song "Easy" as the background track and is a tribute to Maggot, basically reminiscing on his time with the GLC and how they miss him in the band. He appeared in the fourth series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2006, finishing third, [2] trailing Michael Barrymore and eventual winner Chantelle Houghton.
Maggot left Goldie Lookin Chain to pursue other interests.[ citation needed ]

La Toya Yvonne Jackson is an American singer and television personality. The fifth child and middle daughter of the Jackson family, Jackson first gained recognition on the family's variety television series, The Jacksons, on CBS between 1976 and 1977. Thereafter, she saw success as a solo recording artist under multiple record labels in the 1980s and 1990s, including Polydor, Sony Music and RCA, where she released nine studio albums over the course of 15 years. He produced the television special Michael Jackson: 30th Anniversary Celebration in 2001, which was the last reunion of Michael Jackson and the Jacksons coming 17 years after their previous reunion. Gest appeared on the 2006 series of the British reality television show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!. He frequently made tabloid headlines during his marriage with Liza Minnelli. In 2016, Gest appeared in Celebrity Big Brother 17 in the UK but elected to leave the show after 13 days due to "medical reasons". This resulted him finishing in 13th place.

Goldie Lookin Chain are a Welsh comedy hip hop group from Newport, south-east Wales. The group produces humorous, controversial and often explicit songs that satirise hip hop, today's consumer society, the "chav" culture and life in Newport and South Wales in general.
Moonwalker is a 1988 American experimental anthology musical film starring Michael Jackson. Rather than featuring one continuous narrative, the film expresses the influence of fandom and innocence through a collection of short films about Jackson, several of which are long-form music videos from Jackson's 1987 album Bad. The film is named after the dance technique known as the moonwalk, which Jackson was known for performing.
Safe as Fuck is the second studio album by Goldie Lookin Chain, released in 2005. The first single from it was "Your Missus Is a Nutter", reached number 14 in the UK charts, and the second single, "R'n'B", got to number 26. The phrase "Safe as fuck" is one of the band's catchphrases, along with "You knows it".
Greatest Hits was the first Goldie Lookin Chain album to be released nationally and on a major label. It was released in 2004 and took tracks from several of Goldie Lookin Chain's previous, self-released CD-R albums which had been given out and copied extensively.
"Guns Don't Kill People, Rappers Do" is a song by the Welsh hip hop group Goldie Lookin Chain from their Greatest Hits album. In August 2004, the song peaked at number three on the UK Singles Chart. With the tagline "The gun is the tool, the mind is the weapon", in this track the band satirised the perceived link between American hip hop and gun violence, referencing several rap murders.

Slow Life is an EP by the Welsh alternative rock band Super Furry Animals, released in 2004. The EP was made available as a free download and also saw a limited CD release, bundled with remix album Phantom Phorce. Lead track "Slow Life" appeared on the 2003 album Phantom Power and was originally composed as a purely electronic song by keyboardist Cian Ciaran several years earlier. The band were keen to finish the track and Ciaran encouraged them to jam over his original version—this jam was then edited and made into the finished song. The track "Motherfokker" is a collaboration between the Super Furry Animals and rap group Goldie Lookin Chain.

The music video "Newport (Ymerodraeth State of Mind)" is a parody of the Jay-Z and Alicia Keys song "Empire State of Mind," replacing references to the "Empire State" of New York with references to the city of Newport in South Wales. The word "ymerodraeth" means "empire" in Welsh.
