Connie Carpenter-Phinney is an American retired racing cyclist and speed skater who won four medals in World Cycling Championship competitions in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Knut Knudsen is a retired Norwegian road and track cyclist. As an amateur, he placed fifth in the 4000m individual pursuit at the 1968 Olympics before becoming Olympic champion in the same discipline in 1972. He would follow this up with another gold at the 1973 World Championships. At the 1972 Olympics he also placed fifth in the 100 km team time trial on the road. He won the Norwegian National Road Race Championships in 1972 and 1973.
Melissa Holt is a racing cyclist from New Zealand. She won the New Zealand National Time Trial Championships a record equaling five times and finished 2nd once. She won the New Zealand National Road Race Championships three times, finished 2nd three times and finished 3rd once. In the Australia World Cup she placed 7th in 2002 and 4th in 2003. In the New Zealand World Cup she placed 6th in 2005. She finished 3rd in the 2005 Luk Challenge. In the Geelong Tour she placed 2nd overall in 2006. She placed 2nd in the 2009 Oceania Continental Championships Time Trial only four seconds behind the winner. She competed at the Commonwealth Games three times, finishing 9th in the time trial in 2002, 4th in the time trial in 2006, and 5th in the time trial and 9th in the road race in 2010. She competed at the world championships in both the road race and time trial in 2002, 2003 and 2005, but in 2010 she only competed in the time trial.
Magne Dæhli is a Norwegian orienteering competitor, ski-orienteer, and cross-country skier. His achievements include five medals in the relay at the World Orienteering Championships, of which three are gold medals. His best individual performances include a silver medal in the long distance from the European Orienteering Championships, and a bronze medal in the middle distance from the 2019 World Orienteering Championships.
Alison Shanks is a retired New Zealand professional racing cyclist, specialising in the individual pursuit and team pursuit in track cycling and individual time trial in road bicycle racing. Prior to that she was an Otago Rebels netballer, the sport she played for more than five years before her cycling career.
Hamish Bryon Bond is a retired New Zealand rower and former road cyclist. He is a three-time Olympic gold medallist at the 2012 London Olympic Games, the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games, and at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. He won six consecutive World Rowing Championships gold medals in the coxless pair and set the current world best times in both the coxless and coxed pair. He made a successful transition from rowing to road cycling after the 2016 Summer Olympics, focussing on the road time trial and winning a medal at the Commonwealth Games. He returned to rowing for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, winning a gold medal in the men's eight. In 2024 he was a cyclor in the Team New Zealand team which successfully defended the America's cup.
Morten Sæther is a Norwegian cyclist. He won a bronze medal at the 1979 UCI Road World Championships in the 100 km team time trial. He missed the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow due to their boycott by Norway, but competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, where he placed fourth in the individual road race. He won the Tour of Berlin in 1979 and 1983 and finished second in the Tour of Austria and Sealink Race in 1980. He also won the Norwegian National Road Race Championship in 1981 and 1983.
